Outings Booking Conditions





Payment at time of booking for all outings please.
Book for a maximum of 2 people.
Book up to two outings per member, in the first 2 weeks of release
Remaining spaces will be re-opened for all members from Mon 13 April.
Apologies, but cancellations cannot be refunded if fees are charged to us by
external providers.
 Please advise of any special dietary requirements at time of booking.
 Seat belts, when provided, must be worn on outings at all times.
 Seat belt extenders and sick bags are available if you need – please see staff.
Perth Garden Festival
Friday 1 May
9:30am – 3:30pm
Join us as we visit WA’s most prestigious garden and outdoor lifestyle event,
held at McCallum Park in Victoria Park. Explore the stunning SunSmart
Landscape Show Gardens, join in the demonstrations and seminars and enjoy
some fabulous entertainment.
Lunch Buy own lunch from the many food stalls
Choice at the festival.
Outing Cost $20 per person
Rottnest Island
Tuesday 5 May
9am – 5pm
Spend the day exploring our own island getaway. Join a guided walk around
the townsite, stretch your legs and walk a bit further, hire a bike, ride the hop
on, hop off bus, take the train to Oliver Hill or just laze about town watching the
quokka’s.
Buy your own lunch on the island or bring
Lunch your own. Choose from the Rottnest
Choice Bakery, Dome Café or maybe drop into
Hotel Rottnest.
Outing Cost $48 per person
Hillary’s Boat Harbour
Friday 8 May
10am – 3pm
Stroll around the boardwalk, walk along the beach, visit AQWA or just shop!
Spend some time enjoying this lovely beachside entertainment precinct.
Buy your own lunch from any of the

Bassendean Railway
Wednesday 13 May
9:30am – 3:30pm
Museum
Browse the collection of railway carriages and other artefacts that span the
history of WA railways, with mostly Lunch at Stirling Arms Hotel and then take
a little time to stroll through old Guildford. Includes morning tea. Wheelchair
access not available to some carriages at museum.

Wicked The Musical
Wednesday 20 May
10:30am – 4:45pm

Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, as you hear the story of what actually
happened before Dorothy dropped into Oz.

Woodman Point
Tuesday 26 May
9:15am – 1pm
Quarantine Station
Take a guided tour of the isolation hospital and former Commonwealth
Quarantine Station site located at Woodman Point Recreation Reserve.
Includes morning tea.
Approx. 1km walking. Wheelchair access is limited in some sites.
Lunch is not included in this outing but

Centre on our return.
