Vacancy of Program Officer Position
JICA Indonesia Office is an active development partner of the Government of
Indonesia, located in Jakarta. The Office is now seeking qualified and experienced
candidates for a position as follows.
Program Officer (PO):
PO shall work as part of a team to support South-South and Triangular Cooperation
(SSTC) on the following scope:



Coordinate and manage the activities of South-South and Triangular
Cooperation (SSTC) in Indonesia such as international trainings to receive
mainly government staff in other developing countries, Indonesian expert
dispatch to advise other developing countries, related researches in Indonesia,
as well as both international and domestic seminars/workshops. The task
includes managing those projects and does administrative tasks in the Office.
Promote network and communication with stakeholders such as government
counterparts, particularly BAPPENAS, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of
State Secretariat, and Ministry of Finance, other line ministries, other offices of
JICA in the world, JICA Experts, local consultants, Japanese consultants, and
Development Partners.
Undertake any other matters designated by the Chief Representative of JICA
Indonesia Office.
Qualifications:
1) Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) with 2-year working experiences preferably on
development cooperation or government services. Working experiences in Japanese
institution and background of foreign relations are advantages.
2) Good interpersonal skills, adaptable and willing to learn in the multi-cultural
environment. Strong interest and good knowledge of development issues are
advantages.
3) Age: Maximum of 35 years old
4) Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Proficiency of
Japanese language is an advantage.
5) Proficient computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
6) Limited to Indonesian nationals and current residents in DKI Jakarta and West Jawa.

PO works as a Contract-Based National Staff of JICA Indonesia Office for the
period of one (1) year.
Evaluation of applicants shall not be limited to the above-mentioned
qualifications. JICA may consider other relevant work criteria in recruitment of
said positions.
