Welcome
On behalf of the Health Funding Department of the Dubai
Healthcare Authority, I am delighted to announce the "Dubai
Standards in Healthcare - Diabetes Care", a series of educational
programs to provide healthcare practitioners in Dubai with the best
possible guidance on the insurance standards in diabetes care.
The program consists of 8 CME accredited educational events,
starting on 27th March 2015 and taking place every fortnight,
designed to bring the latest updates on screening, diagnosis and
prevention of diabetes, treatment guidelines and criteria for
referral, pharmacological therapy and management of diabetes
complications in primary care, amongst other important topics.
Through this first series of the Dubai Standards in Healthcare
Program, we aim to promote better management of people with
diabetes by providing clinicians with the right tools to elevate the
quality of care.
