ShareStream Quick Guide
The ShareStream video streaming service allows easy posting of video and audio to a
Blackboard Learn course site. ShareStream enables consistently reliable play back on any
device. Add video that you own from your computer to ShareStream Pick-Play then use a
ShareStream Mashup to add media to any content area, test, or assignment.

Select Tools from the course menu
and choose ShareStream Pick-n-Play.
To upload to ShareStream:
• Click the Upload Media button
• Choose the “Click to Select Media button”
• Click Browse to search for media
• Click Add Media
NOTE: It will take 15 - 45 minutes for the video to
appear in the “My Work Space” area (depending
on the length of the video)

• Click the check box next to the video
you want to upload
• Click Add to Course once the video has
appeared

To place a video in a content area:
• Select a Content Area
• Select Build Content -> Item
• Click the chevron for options
• Click the Mashup drop-down
menu
• Select ShareStream Media

• Choose Display All Files
• Check the box next to the
media you want to upload
• Click Add Media
• Click Submit
