KBEA 2015 Scholarship Application Guidelines & Form
The Kansas Business Education Association (KBEA) Scholarship will be awarded annually at the KBEA Convention,
generally held in the fall. The scholarship will be in the amount as specified by the Executive Board, as well as the
number of scholarships awarded. (2015 is approved for 2-$250 scholarships.)
The scholarship can be awarded for undergraduate work in business education or graduate work in a business related field.
Applications for the scholarship will be submitted to the KBEA Past-President by May 30. Applicants must submit a
transcript indicating they are a qualified junior or senior undergraduate business education student or a graduate student at
an accredited college or university and complete the application process.
Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in their post-secondary work. The scholarship
will only be awarded once to an applicant. Applicants must be members or student members of KBEA.

instructional role or working in a business environment, why you want to become a business teacher and your
professional goals, your financial need, and why you should be considered for this scholarship. Please attach a
separate page to complete the essay.
