PROPHETIC SUNDAY SERMON BY PASTOR CHUKS MBAH ON 3RD MAY, 2015
Theme: Joy after Sorrow
Topic: God will do a new thing
Act 15v1-5, at Midnight Paul and Silas were crying, and might have thought that they would never
come out of the prison again, in that same prison the enemy padlocked them with chains and with
bruises over their bodies. At midnight something very unsual happened as Paul and Silas were
singing praises (that which prayer cannot do, why not try praise, praise can do it), suddenly there
came an earthquake, their chains broke and the prison gate was opened and while the warden was
about harming himself thinking that they had escaped, they asked him not to do himself any harm,
“for greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world”.
Declare:
- O you my pursuers, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
From sorrow to joy, for without war there will be no freedom.
Declare:
- The Egyptian I see today in my life I shall see them no more.
I declare:
- God will do a new thing because after battle there is going to be a new thing, and your destiny
has been refined this new month.
- All the obstructions , delays, barriers and limitations before your destiny have been banished in
Jesus name.
- Whatever afflication in your life is going for ever in the name of Jesus.
- Whatever hand that is holding your destiny is detroyed in Jesus name.
- Anyone that had ridiculed you, made your life miserable or is frustrating your effort - by this time
tomorrow you will not see them again in Jesus Name.
Anyone that hate you will be your slave in Jesus Name.
- All the sorrows in your live will turn to joy in Jesus Name.
- Evil shall slay the wicked in Jesus Name.
- You will never see trouble again for God of vengance is fighting your battle in Jesus Name.
- By this time next month, no one will recognize you in Jesus Name.
Isaiah 43v18 -20 : ‘ Remember not the former thing ... behold I will do a new thing ...’ God is telling
you to forget your past for your days of sorrow are over . As the Lord turns your sorrow to joy and as
He begins to fight your battles, He will give you an excellent spirit which will confuse the kingdom of
your enemies. When God fights your battles, He brings an unusal/confusing dream into the camp of
your enemies. The dream that will make them to drop even their wealth to you and it is a man with an
excellent spirit that can interpret it. Dan.5v23 - 28. From prison to interprtation of Dream, Daniel was
able to interpret the dreams of the witches, witchzard and occultic people because these people
cannot interpret anything when God is involved although they usually interpret. And he was
honoured.
I declare:
- God has numbered the Kingdom of your enemies, any moment from now they will begin to die one
be one in Jesus Name.
- I see honour coming to you in Jesus Name.
- In your company, working place and in whatever you are doing, because an excellent spirit is in
you, men of dignity and honour are looking for you and after this service they will be connected to
you in Jesus Name.
Psm 30v4-5 – “Sing unto the Lord... weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh ‘now’.” (Prayer)
“I recieve my joy, O Lord my Father because I receieve my freedom, decorate me with joy, “
God requires only one thing from you after you recieve joy: and that is Praise. Go on and sing Praises
unto God.
