DEPARTMENT OF RESIDENCE SAVE PROGRAM ANNUAL
FOOD/CLOTHING DRIVE
The Department of Residence and Central Stores collects gently used clothing and unopened, non-perishable food items from students during spring semester move-out. The
food items will be donated to Bethesda Lutheran Church food pantry. The clothing will be
donated to Goodwill allowing them to be reused and keeping them out of the landfills. Donations will begin on April 23rd and there will be boxes labeled outside of the Frederiksen
Court Office until May 13th. Don’t put these things in the trash. Don’t leave them in your
apartment. SAVE these items from the landfill. SAVE the Earth’s resources. SAVE carrying it home. SAVE = SIMPLE ACT VITAL EFFECT
CHECKING OUT?
Please don’t just leave. There is paperwork to complete and keys to return. Contact the
office (515-294-2107) or the CA on Call (515-290-1652) for information on what to do to
have a successful checkout so you can avoid additional charges.
HOW AND WHERE TO GET HELP AT FREDDY
Put this number in your cell…515-290-1652. It’s the Freddy CA on Call and provides 24/7
assistance. The Freddy Office is open 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday and is located in the
Community Center room 1010. You will also be receiving notes from your CAs…with more
information about them and their contact info, too. We are here to help!
AVOID LOCKOUTS … CARRY YOUR KEYS & ACCESS CARD AT
ALL TIMES
Your first lock out is free, but all other after hours lockouts cost you $25. Avoid paying $25.
Make sure you have your keys & card when you leave the apartment. Make sure your
access card is working. If you do get locked out, call your roommates to let you in before
calling the CA on Call. Be responsible. Avoid lock outs … day and night!
