Hello,
Thank you for your interest in covering the 2015 Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival. Please
read this application in its entirety for information on our credentialing process. You
are submitting this application to be considered to cover the Bahamas Junkanoo
Carnival official events from May 7th through May 9th, 2015. We welcome all media
support before, during and after the festivities.
Please note that you may not be approved for all requested credentials, as space is
very limited.

To facilitate coverage of the event, accredited media will be issued passes that will allow
free access to the event for a prescribed period.
The following steps outline the procedures:
1 .
Submit your Media Accreditation application form along with letter of assignment
no later than April 28th, 2014. Persons applying for accreditation outside of this
period will not be guaranteed a pass.
2 .
Submit your proof of coverage of similar events (i.e. links to past work)
3 .
Submit a recent photograph of yourself. (Files must be at least 200 dpi jpeg format.)
Face should not be covered in any form.
4 .
Once an application for accreditation has been received and approved you will
receive a confirmation email advising of the type of pass allocated, your
registration badge number, the issuance date and the place and time that the
pass should be collected.
5 .
When collecting your pass, you must present the confirmation email showing your
badge number along with a valid picture ID.

**Disclaimers:
Media Approvals: All of the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival activities are open to the public
with a day pass/weekend pass and anyone is welcome to attend.
However, media must be credentialed to interview talent and take photos or video.
Photography/Video: All photographers are required to sign a standard photo release form.
Photographers may also be required to sign a waiver restricting photography for particular
artists or talent, at the artist’s discretion. Photo and video passes are extremely limited and
will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

cover and that someone will contact you with an update in regards to your application
status.
