$80 (pick 1 session) • Open to eighth graders-seniors in high school
The 2015 Milwaukee Baseball Prospect Camp
focuses on the overall development of the serious baseball player.
The showcase-style camp is open to anyone
who is interested in attending UWM or for anyone looking for instruction to take their game to
the next level. There will be two sessions available: one for pitchers and one for position players. Players should pick one session to attend.
Players will be able to showcase their skills in
front of the Milwaukee coaching staff along
with instruction by NCAA Division I coaches and
players
The camp is open to all, limited only by age,
number and gender. Water will be provided and
an athletic trainer is on site. Camp check-in is at
the Klotsche Center. All campers must bring
tennis shoes for indoor portion of the camp.
Head coach Scott Doffek starts his ninth year as the head coach of the
Milwaukee Panthers in 2015. A mainstay in the UWM baseball program,
Doffek enters his 21st season with the Milwaukee coaching staff. He claimed
the 2013 Horizon League regular-season championship and was named
WBCA College Coach and Horizon League Coach of the Year.
Cory Bigler enters his 12th season as Milwaukee’s head assistant coach as
well as pitching coach. The 2013 campaign continued a recent trend, as
the team was second in the Horizon League in ERA, making the top-three
lowest team ERA’s in program history occur in the past four years. He has
mentored four Major League Baseball Draft picks over the course of the
past four seasons.
Assistant coaches Cole Kraft, Chad Pierce and Mike Goetz will also be
members of the camp staff.
The camp will be held at the Klotsche Center. Campers must bring own
equipment needed to compete (bat, glove, catcher’s gear if catcher, etc.).
Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Check-in will be at the Klotsche
Center (3409 North Downer Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53211).
