Elite Analytics, LLC is a predictive analytics software and consulting firm
based in Austin, Texas. Although our collective industry expertise spans
a broad range of verticals, in recent years, Elite Analytics has established
­itself as one of the most recognized providers of predictive models to
­government tax and revenue agencies. Our core competencies are in data
mining, p
­ redictive analytics, and strategic analytical consulting services
that enable organizations to leverage data for improved decision-making.
Elite Analytics was established in 2003 by data scientists Dr. Daniele Micci-Barreca and
Dr. Satheesh Ramachandran, which collectively bring over 40 years of experience in
data mining, predictive analytics and text mining in a wide variety of domains – from tax
­administration to Internetbased commerce, automotive warranty abuse and i­nsurance
fraud, healthcare and other industries. Our strength lies in our ability to bridge the
­complexity of predictive modeling and statistical concepts to executives, business users
and non-technical stakeholders.
Elite Analytics has developed a deep expertise in the entire cycle of development of
predictive modeling projects, from conceptualization, to modeling, to large-scale
­
­deployments and systems integration. By leveraging advanced modeling platforms, like
the IBM SPPS ­Modeler and Collaboration and Deployment Services environment, we
­develop models engineered for efficient and effective integration into the production
­environments, always considering the requirements of model accuracy, maintainability
and production performance. Today our models are a core part of the collection and return
processing workflow at major tax agencies in the United States and Canada.
Over the past decade Elite Analytics has developed a portfolio of predictive modeling
­solutions for tax compliance, including models for non-filer workload identification, audit
workload selection and collection risk scoring for government tax and revenue agencies in
the US and Canada. The result is an established track record in the application of advanced

Leveraging these experiences across multiple agencies, Elite has been able to develop
and refine its unique methodology for developing predictive models, in particular for
­collection and audit applications in tax compliance. To date, Elite Analytics has developed

­ eployed predictive analytics for twelve different tax agencies in North America, by
far the largest number of projects among vendors in our market. This significant footprint
was achieved through strategic partnerships with companies like CGI, Teradata and most
­recently IBM. While Elite Analytics pursues direct sales with some clients (especially outside
the government sector), the majority of the business in tax compliance is partner-driven.
Outside the tax compliance arena, Elite Analytics has worked with a number of private
