SSV 12 & Under State Cricket Team Trials

SSV 12 & Under State Cricket Team Trials - Inner East Metro - Phase 1
The Inner East Metro section of the School Sports Victoria 12 & Under State Team trials took place
on Wednesday 18th March, 2015 at Schramms Reserve in Doncaster.
110 talented juniors participated in Phase 1 of the trial process, conducted by Cricket Victoria.
All players should be proud to be nominated by their school and/or Cricket Victoria to compete for a
position in the Phase 2 trials. The attendance of all players and parents, as well as the way in which
all cricketers went about their session should be commended. The selection process was extremely
difficult, with plenty of talented cricketers displaying their skills and having fun.
From 110 players that trialled, Cricket Victoria selectors have chosen 12 players to proceed through
to Phase 2 of trials, which will be a trial match against the Outer East Metro Phase 2 Squad.
For players who missed selection, continue to enjoy your cricket and work hard on your game, there
are plenty of opportunities ahead in the cricket pathway for you in the coming seasons.

Phase 2 Trial Match Details:
Date: Wednesday 25th March, 2015
Time: 9.30am arrival for a 10am start until 3.30pm
Venue: Schramms Reserve #2 Oval (on turf), JJ Tully Drive, Doncaster (Fitzroy Doncaster CC)
Attire: School sport shirt, school sport hat, whites and runners (spikes if possible)
BYO: Lunch, drinks, sunscreen and cricket equipment.

Availability: Please notify Shane or Chris no later than Tuesday 24th March if you are UNAVAILABLE
for the trial match.
Team: Batting and bowling orders and game format will be announced on the day
Well done to the 12 players selected to proceed to Phase 2 of the selection process.
6 players will be selected from this game to continue with the trial process with School Sports
Victoria.
Please remember to advise your teacher that you will be unable to attend school on the 25th
March.
