• The footprint was constrained by site boundaries to 3 sides and a mature Chestnut Tree with an associated tree protection order (TPO) to the open aspect
• The design had to maximise the space available without ingressing into the TPO and as it was within a conservation
area, fit into the natural surroundings
• The addition of the 4 bay cricket practice facility means the school has become a hub for the Dorset County Cricket Elite Performance Programme
