Thank you for participating in the UW-Whitewater Invite. In order for a smooth and successful tournament,
please read the following information and share it with all coaches, players and spectators.
All coaches must sign off on their OFFICIAL WEBPOINT roster on day of tournament. Please turn in
roster at apparel table to tournament director prior to the start of your first game. Please make sure
your coach has an extra copy of their Webpoint roster. Teams that have not turned in their WEBPOINT
roster and USAV numbers for their team will not be eligible to participate. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
FORMAT: Pool play followed by single-elimination playoffs.
 Pools will play a best of three game play format
 Rally scoring to 25 points for the first two sets and to 15 for the third, if necessary (no cap)
 Single-elimination playoffs will be best of three game play format
 Warm-ups will be 5—5 for the first two rounds, the following rounds will be 3—3
 We will provide the up-referee for each match. Teams assigned to officiate must provide a down
official, scorekeeper, libero tracker & line judges. USA Volleyball rules will be utilized.
SCHEDULE: UW-Whitewater Williams Center–Kris Russell Volleyball Arena & Fieldhouse.

 7:15am: Doors open
 7:50am: First round warm-up begins (5 – 5, hitting and serving for each team)
 8:00am: First serve
 Be sure to be on your court and ready for all officiating duties. Do not leave without checking with
the tournament director that you are finished officiating.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
 A $3 admission fee will be charged for all spectators.
 A certified trainer and ice will NOT be available.
 ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD OR DRINKS (besides water) ARE ALLOWED IN THE GYMS! No carry-ins
into the building other than water bottles for athletes. NO COOLERS IN THE BUILDING! Thank you
for your cooperation.
 Please demonstrate respect the facilities, referees, other spectators and Tournament Officials!! The
Tournament Director reserves the right to ask anyone who is acting in a disrespectful manner to
leave.
 The UW-W Fieldhouse is full of equipment from their collegiate sports. Please stay off the vaulting pits
and away from any other equipment that is not directly related to your volleyball tournament. Your
cooperation is appreciated.
 Violations of any facility rules will result in your team forfeiting games and/or your club
being fined.
 Wi-fi is not available in the Williams Center.
 UW-W volleyball apparel will be available for purchase. Concessions will be sold including Subway
and Rocky’s Pizza. Please clean up your garbage after all matches and upon leaving the facility.
 Neither UW-Whitewater nor the Tournament Director is responsible for lost or stolen items.
 The Tournament Director will be monitoring courts on a continuous basis throughout the
tournament.

 After Pool Play, teams will be seeded within their pool and as a whole 1-8 determined by pool play
placement, overall match record, overall set record (set winning %) and points. If 2 or 3 teams are
tied by match record & set record to determine the 4th team to get in to the Gold Playoff, then
playoffs of one set to 15 points will be utilized to break the tie.
