Ukraine Missions
Bro. Igor Kushch was
a blessing to our church.
Thank you to the Adams and the Burgesses’
for hosting him during
his stay. Thank you to
each person, family or
Sunday school class that
provided a meal or allowed him to enjoy
your hospitality, as you loved on him. Bro. Igor
left this past Monday and will be working with
a Ukrainian Church in Sacramento, California,
before returning to Ukraine at the end of May. Please
continue to pray for Igor and his Church as they
prepare for Summer Camp on July 17-27th.
Ukraine Missions Trip
God may have spoken to you about going to
Ukraine this summer. We’ll serve in Transformation
Churches’ Camp on July 17-27th. If you can help
teach English, sing, teach Bible lessons, are willing to
sing or preach, and do relational evangelism – then
you need to go. We need a $100 deposit by Sunday,
May 10th if you are interested. We’ll have a team
meeting next Wednesday, May 13th, at 7pm in the
Fellowship Center. Come serve with Bro. Igor and
help continue the work in Ukraine!

Opp’s offer to purchase the church owned property
South of Covington Avenue between Whaley and
College Street. The City offered to pay $50,000 for this
property. As a church, we voted to accept this offer
on Sunday, April 26th in our morning service. Our
church leadership will be moving forward to help
complete this property transaction with our City.
Thank you for all of your input during this process.
Serve the City
This Saturday, May 9th is our ‘Serve the City’
missions’ day.
Childcare is available for
preschoolers, if you call the church office. If you’ve
not committed to serve on a project – arrive at 8 am
at the Fellowship Center and we’ll involve you in one
of our projects. We have landscaping and clean up
at OES; pressure washing & painting at OHS; we’re
giving school supplies to OMS; serving at the
laundry mat, doing 4 Senior Adult projects and
have Ministry packets to assemble in the Fellowship
Center for our Senior Adults. Call the office,
493-3235, to be involved.
Voices of Mobile
What a blessing Dr. Breland and the Voices of
Mobile were last Sunday! You gave $2815 towards
their love offering. Thank you for partnering with
the Voices of Mobile to support their global ministry!

What an incredible Sunday we had! The VOICES of Mobile blessed
our hearts and took us “to the King,” what more could we have asked
for?! And then Sunday night our students led us with “Holy Spirit.” I hope
you’re making Sunday worship the priority it deserves to be. Just imagine,
if you’d missed the day the Lord tapped on your heart and asked to come
in.........
