Flourish and Blotts – Heather Held
Unleash the magic of the pointed pen in this
intriguing workshop. We will start with simple
strokes that magically transform into graceful
and ornate cartouches. These delicate designs
are embellished with simple florals and accent
strokes. Bring your imagination and sense of
play to discover this delightful art.
Hold Me Closer, Tiny Writer
– Jan Cegnar
Join Jan for some fun
with Tiny Lettering. We
will start with a simple
monoline italic then
move onto clothesline
caps with a dash of
colour in between our
letters. You will design
your own tiny piece of art or card with the
clothesline caps. $5-6 supply fee
(With Love) From Me to You - Aline Chan
Aline will guide you through making a variety of
creative cards for all occasions. You will make
six cards: two sets of 3 unique cards that will be
as much fun to make as to give away. You can
personalize them with your own calligraphic
greeting or you can use 'word' stamps.
Everything will be provided.

Let's strip lettering back to the bare essentials.
Black ink, white paper. Pencil. Maybe white ink,
black paper. Walnut ink splashed in reckless
abandon. Gestural marks. Dancing...maybe with
a partner. Handwriting for the calligraphic
virgins. Traditional
hands for you pros. Go

passion leads when
there is no plan. Head
home with 1) an
accordion book showcasing your body of work
in the centrefold and 2) memories of a wild
wanton escapade. Remember, what happens in
Hamilton, stays in Hamilton! Supply fee $7
