Keep this manual for future reference. For use by children ages 3 to 6 years ONLY. The maximum user weight is 45kg. ADULT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED – Contains small parts, sharp points and sharp edges. These pieces can be a CHOKING HAZARD for young children, especially under 3 years. 2 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net PARTS LIST The list of parts for the 55 inch trampoline is below. Please check that you have all parts prior to assembly. Parts Quantity Red Pad Cover with Black Mesh Skirt 1 Jump Mat 1 Safety Net 1 Black Rope/Cord 1 White Elastic Cords 30 Screws 30 Screw Driver 1 Curved Pole 6 Lower Enclosure Pole (with Grey/Black Foam) 6 Upper Enclosure Pole (with Red Foam) 6 Straight Leg Pole 6 3 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net INSTALLATION STEPS Installing the Base Frame Step 1: Start by connecting two of the curved poles together into an arc. Then, add the remaining 4 curved poles together to form a full circle. If it is difficult to assemble the last two poles together, then stand on the frame edge (with the two poles to connect at your hand height), then press downward on the two poles while joining together. Step 2: Lay the circular frame flat on the floor (both sides are identical so it doesn’t matter which way is up). Attach the straight leg poles into each of the 6 holes in the circular frame. Line up the holes in the circular frame with the holes in the straight legs and insert a screw into each connection. Do not overtighten the screws. TIP: The provided screwdriver is not the best quality. It is recommended to use your own screwdriver. Step 3: The base frame is now installed. Turn over the base frame so that it is now standing on the straight leg poles. 4 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net Installing the Jump Mat Step 4: Lay out the jump mat in the centre of the circular frame. Step 5: Then, slide one of the white elastic cords from right to left through the loop in the mat as shown in the picture Step 6: Use your left hand to stretch the loop end of the cord OVER the top rail and your right hand to pull the “closed” end of cord UNDER the top rail. Then pass the closed end through the loop as shown in the picture. Step 7: SLOWLY release the loop end of the cord so that it tightens around the closed end, locking the elastic cord in place. TIP: If you like, you can switch the right hand/left hand instructions above (if it’s easier for you). However, the over/under instructions still remain the same. 5 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net Step 8: From the 1st attached cord, count around the jumping mat to the 16th loop and repeat steps 5-7 to attach the 2nd cord directly across from the 1st cord. Step 9: Next, count back around the jumping mat 8 loops and repeat steps 5-7 attaching the 3rd cord about half way between the 1st and 2nd cords. Step 10: Then from the 3rd attached cord, count around the jumping mat 16 loops and repeat steps 5-7. Step 11: Continue connecting the remaining cords to the jump mat, but always connect a cord and then switch to the opposite side of the mat to connect the next cord. Installing the Pad Cover Step 12: Lay the pad cover over the jump mat and elastic cords. Carefully position each of the 6 openings in the pad cover over their corresponding enclosure pole socket, as shown. 6 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net Step 13: Carefully work the black lower mesh skirt (attached to the pad cover) down around the entire perimeter of the trampoline, on the outside of the legs. Step 14: Align the grommet (small hole) attached to the bottom of the lower mesh skirt with the hole near the base of the circular frame leg and secure with a screw. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Repeat with 5 more screws until the entire mesh skirt has been connected to the lower holes in the trampoline legs. Installing the Safety Net Poles Step 15: Insert the smaller diameter end of an upper enclosure pole (red foam pole) into the larger diameter end of a lower enclosure pole (black foam pole) and align the screw holes. You may need to slide the preinstalled foam sleeves up or down to gain access to the ends of the pole. Step 16: Insert a screw into the connected poles and tighten. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Repeat step 15 to complete the remaining set of upper and lower enclosure poles. 7 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net Step 17: Insert the bottom end of the enclosure pole assembly into the hole in the circular frame, as shown. Align the holes, insert a screw, and tighten. Once again, do not overtighten. Repeat until all enclosure poles have been connected to the circular frame. Installing the Safety Net Step 18: Take out the net, lay it out, and make sure that the zipper entrance is at the bottom of the laid out net. Step 19: Locate the 6 black patches with grommets (small holes) that are sewn into the top of the safety net. Carefully place one of the patches over the top of one of the safety net poles so that the small hole in the net patch is aligned with the hole at the top of the safety net pole. Please use care so that the mesh does not tear. Step 20: Insert a screw and tighten (but not overtighten). Repeat Step 19 until all black patches at the top of the safety net are connected to each of the safety net poles, and screwed in. When finished, the net should hang down straight (not twisted), and should be hanging down on the inside of the safety net poles. Step 21: Locate the upper and lower sets of velcro loops sewn to the safety net. Step 22: Tightly wrap both the upper and lower loops around the safety net poles to secure in place. Continue until all loops have been connected. 8 Vault Mini Trampoline and Safety Net Securing the bottom of the Safety Net Step 23: Take out the black rope. This will be used to fasten the bottom of the safety net underneath the mat. For this step, you can either lie on your back underneath the trampoline, or tilt the trampoline CAREFULLY onto its side. Step 24: On the inside of the safety net poles, carefully pull the grommets (small holes) on the bottom of the safety net down underneath the jump mat. You can do them all at once or one at a time (whichever is easier). Step 25: Once each hole in the bottom of the safety net is pulled underneath the mat, loop the rope through each hole and then tie the two ends together once you get to the end. The tighter you pull the two ends together, the tighter the safety net will be (do not make too tight). There should be more than enough rope for this step. GREAT JOB, YOU’RE DONE! YOU HAVE NOW COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION OF YOUR TRAMPOLINE. ENJOY! 9
