ABOUT INCAM 2015
INCAM2015 is the culmination of efforts
made by Applied Mechanics departments
in the country, to provide a technical
platform
for
discussion
among
researchers in the field. Continuing from
the first conference (INCAM2013@IITM) it
is hoped that this conference will have
sufficient enthusiasm and will pave way
form any more such technical enclaves in
future.
INCAM2015 is being organized by the
Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian
Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi.
ABOUT IIT DELHI
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is
one among the foremost institutes of

applied research. Located in the south

Half a day workshop on computational
mechanics will be organized. In that
three focused areas were identified as
1) Advanced FEM, 2) Multiscale
Modeling of Materials and 3) CFD;
Turbulence modeling
ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF
APPLIED MECHANICS
Applied Mechanics as a general field of
study has been in existence in India and
abroad for several decades. The
Department of Applied Mechanics at IITD
has
grown
into
a
full-fledged
interdisciplinary
graduate
research
department over the decades.
Applied
Mechanics
interfaces
the
fundamental principles of physics and
mathematics, and their application in
diverse engineering disciplines. In our
department various disciplines such as
solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, design
engineering and materials engineering
have been explored and utilized for
serving the nation.

TEQIP participants. Boarding, lodging and
TA will be provided as per rules, to the
selected
participants.
The
completed
registration forms should reach to the
conference chairman on or before 25th April,
2015 (1700hrs). If the TEQIP participants
wish to contribute a paper then they should
follow the schedule given in the other
important dates section for submission.
