The 2015 world Horseshoe Tournament Steering committee has been working hard to make this a fun event for
everyone attending. We have partnered with the Topeka Civic Theatre to allow our visitors the opportunity to see the
play “The Wizard Of Oz”. This will be a sellout, so order your tickets early.

through special arrangement with Tams-Whitmark Music Library Little Dorothy Gale of Kansas, like so many girls
her age, dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the
rainbow to another world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they
travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination.
Junior Parties: We have obtained a sponsor for the junior parties. There will be a party on Wednesday July 15th,
afternoon / evening, at the Gage Park Courts to throw horseshoes, visit the Zoo, take a train ride, take a carousel ride
and visit the Discovery Center. Then on July 19th, from 5 PM to 9 PM all juniors will be able to bowl, ride go carts, play
miniature golf, enjoy free popcorn, free pizza and drinks.
July 11th - WT Warm-Up Sign-Up 8 AM: The 2015 WT Warm-up on Saturday July11th. Everyone can pitch as we will have
multiple sessions if needed. Celebrity Challenge at 9 AM
July 12th 8 AM Sign-Up: Ringers Across the Border: Doubles tournament. Requested by the Canadians and asks that a
Canadian and an American be partners. Note, once the Americans and Canadians are paired up, You then are paired up
with someone from another state or country, for example, no two Kansans can be partners.
July 13th Opening Ceremonies 10 AM
July 16th Junior Boys, Junior Girls and Cadets (under 13) compete
July 18th Junior Boys, Junior Girls and Cadets (under 13) championships
