Students sign in by tracing their
name and read a book with their
parent
Circle Time
The letter of the day is identified.
Listening and attention skills are
practiced while books and songs
are presented based on the letter
of the day.
Center Time
Students rotate through various
centers to practice their preschool
skills. Focus will be made on their
fine motor skills, socialization and
attention span with different
activities that might include
drawing, cutting, gluing, building,
using math toys, exploring art and
using the sensory table.
Outside Play or Indoor
Physical Play
Students will increase gross motor
skills and socialization during this
time. Location will depend on
weather.
Letter of the Day Worksheets
and Letter of the Day Art
Project
Student’s will practice writing and
sounding out the letter of the day
and work on a project relating to
their letter.
Closing Circle
A flannel board story and closing
song to book will end the school
day and review the letter of the
day.
