2014 Fordson Zinfandel
Deep magenta-red. Raspberry, blackberry, sweet spice, trifle, perfume. Very attractive aroma. Juicy palate. Succulent berry fruits. Fine, structured tannins.

2014 Buckboard Durif
Rich red-black in colour. Bright, alluring. Fruit cake, ripe berries, rosewater, chocolate, oak, tar, chicory. Rich, full-bodied. Black fruits, toasty oak, complex.
Solid tannins, muscular backbone, generous. 12 days on skins. 14 months American oak, 25% new. Drink in a decade. Buckboard: farm buggy for transporting people, grapes and produce; was horse-drawn in 1853, now motorised.
