and clicking on “Prom 2015”. Please know that any student that
does not go to GNHS or GCHS must complete this form. It requires
both GNHS student and parent signatures, guest signature, and
GNHS students’ deans’ signatures. This form must be completely
filled out and approved prior to ticket purchase. Tickets cannot be
purchased with out the approved guest form.

Transportation:
All students are required to ride a chartered coach bus from
GNHS to the boat. Students are not permitted to use their own
transportation to attend Prom. At the time of ticket purchase students will be asked to sign up for a bus. If you want to ride with a
group of friends please make sure you all sign up together to guarantee this. Buses will start loading at 6:00 pm so please be on
time. All students and guests must have their school I.D.s with
them before loading the bus. Bus assignments will be posted outside the cafeteria the week of Prom to remind students what bus
they are on. No changes will be made once tickets have been purchased.
Helpful Hints:


Don’t let your prom get ruined because you are sensitive to motion. There are many ways to prevent motion
sickness. Visit your nearest pharmacy to find out
more information.
Everyone (yes even the girls!) are required to wear
their shoes at ALL times. Please make sure to bring a
comfortable pair of shoes to change into once you hit
the dance floor!
T-Shirts:
As a favor students will receive a prom
themed t-shirt. Students are asked to choose
their desired size when filling out the Ticket
Purchase Form. T-shirts will be available for
pick up in the bookstore the week of Prom. Be
sure to listen to announcements for exact
days and times for pickup. Student’s are encouraged to wear the t-shirt Friday before
prom.

Rules & Regulations:
Prom is a school sponsored event, so all school rules and regulations, including the dress code (as stated in the Student Handbook) apply for all students (guests included) attending Prom. If there is a possibility you are on social probation, please check with your dean to see whether you are able to go to prom or not. Once tickets are purchased students will not be able to get a refund. Students who plan to go to Prom must be in school the entire day on Friday before prom from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 pm. Students who have a doctor’s appointment (or other family emergencies) on that
day will need a note from the doctor or parent verifying the appointment or emergency. While Prom offers our students
a memorial social experience, it should not interfere with the overall educational process.
