FOOTY TIPPING AT THE CLUB: It's nearly here again! The
season starts Thursday 2nd of April (Thursday before
Easter) $40 for the year; see Mick next time you're in the
Club to join.
QUAIRADING HOTEL: The hotel dining room was opened
on the 28th Feb, and since then it has been slow but
steady. Bookings are preferred, as, if you were to show up
and there was a function happening, I would hate to spoil
your night out. The comments on the dining room have
been positive, and you're always welcome to express your
opinion!
This Friday, 20th March, there will be a live band at the
pub....The Vans.....Original Indie Rock. They're gaining a
following in Perth, and I thought it'd be nice to say "They
played at our Quairading Pub before they became
big!" There will not be a cover charge, but if you're under
25, have your ID ready to show, because this is an 18+
event. All juveniles will be refused entry without
exception. Band starts at 8.30, and they'll wrap it up at
11.30.
Why not book to have tea in the dining room before the
band starts - they're eating there, too!
Frock Friday for April will fall on Good Friday; therefore
there will be no Frock Friday until the first week of
May. The hotel will keep its regular hours through the
Easter break, with the exception of Good Friday when the
pub will not be open at all.
Don't forget Happy Hour at 5.30 and the Meat Raffle drawn
at 7.30 then The Vans at 8.30 all on this Friday. Come out to
your local, where there are no strangers - just people you
haven't met yet. See you there. Annjo.
