Madisyn Dumbauld: Once upon a time there was a hen who lived in a cozy little house
with her chicks.
Edward Demenis: She was always busy cleaning her house and feeding her babies.

Jocelyn Ayala: Nobody ever helped The Little Red Hen.
Javier Cabrera: Not even the cows, the cats, or the pigs who lived outside her door.
Nicholas Gruber: The cows ate clover all day!
Sakina Jafferi: The cats were always sunning their fat bellies!
Naomi Mack: The pigs spent their time rolling in the mud.
Janaya Hernandez: The Little Red Hen was kind to her neighbors.
Olivia Morris: She shared her food with them, but they never helped her!

Melissa Bloodworth: Steal-Eyed Fox stole from his neighbors.
Ethan Meyers: He stole a fish from the cats!
Maximus Nuth: He stole corn from the pigs!
Michael Jasecko: He even stole clover from the cows and he didn’t even like clover!
Cortez Lain: Most of all, he liked to steal The Little Red Hen’s freshly baked bread.

Damian Arreola: The little red hen had not made bread for a long time because she did
not have enough money to buy flour.
Sydney Amschler: One lucky day, she found some grains of wheat.
Michael Arroyo: She thought to herself, “If I plant these grains, I will have a lot of flour
for making bread.”
Dean Draper: It was going to be a lot of work! She decided to ask for help.

The Little Red Hen: Oh, no you won’t! You did not help me make the bread, and you
may not help me eat it!
Lissette Vega: The cows, the cats, and the pigs all lowered their heads and walked
away. They were very hungry.
Isaiah Wade: The hen and her chicks ate the delicious bread.
Preston Dinwiddie: Steal-Eyed Fox saw the delicious bread. His mouth watered.
Christopher Perkins: He came up with a plan to steal the bread!
Kassadie Vazquez: He decided to sneak into the house while hiding in a sack of flour!
Fox: AHAHAHA! Now everyone BE QUIET!
Callie Russell: The fox crept into the house and hid, but the chicks spotted the moving
sack of flour!
Liam Ward: They pecked it with their sharp little beaks.
