ABOUT OUR CHARITIES
The Langley Care Foundation
Established in 1999, we are a registered charity that raises
funds to ensure adequate and sustained funding to improve
and enhance the lives of the residents of Langley Lodge; a
not-for-profit, equal access and accredited complex healthcare home serving the elderly and those with disabilities
who require residential care.
Recognizing that resources are limited in the healthcare
system, it is the Langley Care Foundation’s vision that the
quality of life for residents is ensured now and to the end
of life, through this successful fundraising initiative. Funds
raised will support the very popular Therapeutic programs,
from Art, Horticultural and Music Therapy to Pastoral Care.
Working together, we can make a difference and enrich the

The Langley Hospice Society
We are a community based not-for-profit organization
established in 1983, committed to providing emotional,
practical and social support, for people who are
living with terminal illness, and their family and friends,
throughout the last stages of illness, at the time of
death and throughout bereavement
In addition to palliative care and support through the hospice
residence and in the community, the Langley Hospice Society provides a number of important
programs and services, FREE of charge to the community
we serve. These include: anticipatory, early and ongoing,
individual and group grief support programs for children, teens, adults and families; community outreach and
education; specialized volunteer training and support; day
camp and summer camp programs, and a walking
