CONTEST RULES Please Read All Rules Carefully $10 ENTRY FEE COLLECTED AT CHECK-IN
To compete you must be 18 years or older. Contestants must have a nice clean appearance for the
event - suitable for a family function. If anything the contestant is wearing is deemed inappropriate or
unattractive, the contestant may be subject to disqualification and dismissed. Contestant must be present
and registered at the registration table by 11:15 am on March 28, 2015 for final instructions. Upon registering,
the contestant will receive an identifying number and will be instructed to wait in a designated area. A
contestant will forfeit his or her place should he or she fail to register and appear on time. The contestant
must be continuously present for the duration of the competition.
The object is to eat as many corn dogs as possible within the allotted time: 4 minutes. Contestants may eat
sitting or standing in their designated area. Contestants will be allowed to use and/or drink water during
the competition as dispensed by the officials. Contestants must complete eating an entire corn dog before
proceeding to the next corn dog. The entire corn dog means the breading and meat, leaving only the stick.
Contestants may not remove the breading from the meat, but must eat the entire corn dog as a unit.
Contestants must wait for the starting signal to begin eating and may not touch any corn dog prior to the
starting signal. Contestants must stop eating and must promptly place their hands down on the table or at
their side at the ending signal. Contestants may not put additional portions of a corn dog in their mouth
after the ending signal, but will be allowed 30 seconds to swallow any corn dog already in mouth. If a
contestant throws up or regurgitates, he or she will automatically be disqualified.
Judges will be on hand to assure adherence to contest rules, tally the number of corn dogs eaten, and to
disqualify contestants who fail to adhere to the rules. Winners will be determined by counting the number
of corn dogs eaten. The judges may note the approximate amount of corn dog which remains, to break ties
or choose the winner. All judges’ decisions are final.
Note: Denio’s Management reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason without
explanation. Contest officials may modify rules at their discretion.

I,________________________________ (“Participant”), acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in
the following activities at Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet:
I am aware these may be hazardous activities and participating in these activities could result in serious injury to me or
even cause my death. I am voluntarily participating in these activities with full knowledge of the danger involved, and agree
to assume any and all risks of bodily injury, death or property damage whether those risks are known or unknown. I am
aware that corn dogs are made with turkey.
I verify I have read, understand and acknowledge the above statement by placing my initials here:__________________.
Further, as consideration for being permitted by Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet to participate in these activities and use
the Denio’s premises and facilities, I forever release, indemnify and hold harmless Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet, and
their respective directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”)
from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, guardians, next of kin, children, spouse and legal
representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to: (1) my participation in
these activities, (2) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not , however caused, by any
Releasee, (3) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not I am then participating in the activities.
I also agree that I, my assignees, heirs, guardians, next of kin, children, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim
against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.
I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is an indemnification, release of
liability and a contract between me and Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet and I sign it of my own free will.
