Microscope range
The Gundlach microscope range consists of three
different series of microscopes suitable for novice,
intermediate and advanced teaching levels.
In addition we have three basic models, DualScope
and 100 FL/100 FL LED.
Primomic series
Simple good quality microscopes at very attractive
prices. With standard achromatic objectives and
optional 60x or 100x objective. Very suitable for
novice students. More on page 142.

LED
Primolab series
Easily operated good-quality microscopes with
semiplan achromatic objectives and a good selection
of accessories. Suitable for intermediate teaching and
routine work in medical/veterinary practices and small
laboratories. More on page 144.
PrimoX series
The largest and most versatile microscope in our
range. With modern ergonomic design, high quality
plan achromatic objectives and a very wide selection
of accessories. Suitable for advanced teaching and
for hospitals, clinics, medical centres, specialist
laboratories, food inspection etc.
Basic microscopes
Microscope, model DualScope
Robust low-priced hobby/student microscope with simple
optical glass objectives mounted on a revolving nosepiece.
It comes with a plastic vertical stage with stage clips and a
6-hole disc condenser. The eyetube is mounted at a 45 degree
angle for comfortable viewing and has a wide-field eyepiece
with built-in pointer. In addition to the traditional bottom light
the microscope is provided with a top light, and is thus also
suited for observation of surfaces of leaves, coins, insects etc.
A simple microscope ideal for hobby use and for smaller
children. The simplicity of the design makes it a good choice
as an introduction to microscopes or as a supplement to the
traditional school microscopes.

Primomic microscopes
The Primomic range is one of the most economical
choices in our selection of microscopes.
These microscopes are characterized by a nice finish
and good precision. With continuously variable
halogen-type illumination, and DIN-standard
achromatic par focal objectives this microscope
series provides good value for the money. The large
mechanical stage has a steady, permanent traveser
and low mounted coaxial controls, a design which
is usually only found in larger and more expensive
microscopes.
The eyepiece tube is mounted at an angle on a
revolving head and in addition, the binocular model
has dioptric and interpupillary adjustment.
Magnification range/Objective type
The Primomic series microscopes are available with
either 60x objective or 100x objective as the highest
magnification.
60x objective
Magnifies 600x combined with a 10x eyepiece, and
this magnification is usually satisfactory for most
preparations used in basic microscope teaching.
The 60x objective does not require immersion oil and
is thus very suitable for student use.
100x objective
Magnifies 1000x combined with a 10x eyepiece.
Required to view very small specimens (like bacteria)
in detail. Requires oil immersion, careful adjustment
and thorough cleaning afterwards. Suitable for
advanced users, teacher microscopes etc.

PrimoX microscope
The PrimoX microscope is the largest and most
versatile microscope in our range. The modern
ergonomic design encourages the best possible
working positions. Controls for focusing and operating
the mechanical stage are placed low to allow hands
to rest on the bench while adjusting the microscope
and the strong T-shaped stand ensures maximum
stability. The top-quality par focal plan achromatic
objectives are mounted in an easily operated,
five-hole backward-facing revolving nosepiece,
providing more working space and improved facilities
for attaching lenses for phase- and polarization
microscopy.
A wide range of extra equipment such as dark-field
equipment, phase contrast equipment, polarization
equipment and photographic equipment makes it
possible to create custom-made solutions for almost
every purpose.
The PrimoX microscope is suitable for all purposes in
hospitals, clinics, medical centres, specialist
laboratories, food inspection and advanced teaching
wherever robust, precise and easily operated
microscopes are needed.

Digital microscopes
We are happy to present our first true digital microscope: The DigiTeach.
The DigiTeach was selected because of its strong specifications which
include: LED light source, 4 objectives (with the user friendly
60x objective), 1.3 MP camera, good software and modern design.
The specifications are very close to those of the popular Primomic-series
characterized by good optics, good precision and a fair price.
The improvements are mainly found in the light source, design and the
built-in camera.

Digital camera adapter
This elegantly designed digital USB-microscope is very
suitable for both teacher and student use. It is equipped with
continuously variable LED light powered by an external power
supply. The 60x objective is used without immersion oil, and
this makes the microscope very easy to use and minimizes
cleaning of the lenses after use.
Supplied with easily operated software (Windows compatible)
that makes it is possible to capture images and videos among
other things.
The digital microscope can also be used as a normal microscope without having to connect it to a computer via usbcable. Just connect the power supply to the microscope.

Zoom stereo microscopes
Zoom stereo microscopes are the preferred choice
when you use a stereo microscope for routine
inspection or for more careful examination of insects,
plants etc. The optical system gives a continuously
variable magnification so it is possible to use exactly
that magnification that gives the best view. This can
be a great advantage, when certain details need to be
checked on insects etc. or you want to adjust the field
of view to a certain size in order to see the complete
object.
Zoom stereo microscopes are therefore very suitable
for high schools, universities and inspection work
during production.

Zoom stereo microscope, Primozoom ll
Robust zoom stereo microscope with 45 degree inclination
of head for viewing comfort and eyepieces with both interpupillary and dioptric adjustments. Eyepieces include soft eye
cups to keep prolonged viewing comfortable while blocking
peripheral light. High precision lenses make it possible to use
the zoom stereo microscope for long periods of time without
eyestrain. Stable stand with column and wide base with rounded corners promotes a good working position.
Magnification:
10x to 40x, continuously variable.
Can be increased to 80x with accessories.
Eyepieces:
10x wide-field with 16.5 mm aperture.
Field of view:
Ø 23 – 5.5 mm
Working distance: App. 85 mm
Illumination:

Zoom stereo microscopes
Stereozoom
High quality zoom stereo microscopes with 45 degree
inclination of head for viewing comfort and eyepieces
with both interpupillary and dioptric adjustments.
24 mm aperture eyepieces provide an extra-wide field
of vision and sharp, high contrast images at all
magnifications. Eyepieces include soft eyecups to
keep prolonged viewing comfortable while blocking
peripheral light. High precision lenses make it possible
to use the zoom microscope for long periods of time
without eyestrain. Stable stand and column.
Highly suitable for agriculture and forestry, market
gardening, geology, biology, archaeology and in all
advanced teaching, as well as for quality inspection
and other industrial applications.

Extra magnification for Stereozoom
Extra magnification can be achieved either by replacing the original eyepiece with an eyepiece with larger magnification or
by attaching an auxiliary lens to the main objective.
Auxiliary lenses give you the best optical quality, but working distance is reduced. To keep a large working distance, use an
eyepiece with larger magnification. The optical quality is not quite as perfect as for the auxiliary lens but working distance
is the same.
