All of our range has been specifically designed for the UK and Northern
European climate & market, as such, we are proud to be the only roof tent
supplier who can say their range are built to UK Specifications.
In addition to the RT series range of roof tents, we are also able to offer
bespoke fitting and preparation services and a range of other
expedition/camping equipment which we have personally chosen and used

The RT Series Awnings
The A1 (2 & 2.5m width variants)
The A1 awning is a quick and easy to erect side mounted vehicle or trailer awning ideal for
campers, traders, overlanders and many other applications where cover from the elements is
required.
As with all our awnings, the A1 is modular enabling you to combine the A1 with our other
products like the RT07 & RT08 awning rooms.
Available in either 2x2 or 2.5x2 meter vehicle length applications, the A1 can be easily fitted to just
about any type of roof rack or roof bar set up and makes an excellent addition to the RT series
roof tent range.
Made from superior quality high grade lightweight rip stop material with water and mould
resistant properties, the A1 represents a simple and well recognised design but with our own
unique features not necessarily visible to the naked eye! A true UK spec item.
Priced at a remarkably competitive £249 for both sizes, The A1 is ideal for anyone who loves the
outdoors.

The A2 Awning
The A2 swing-out, side and rear awning represents a new line to us, after a year of development
and tweaking, this 270 degree awning is now available to order. Like all our range, the A2 awning
is modular to accept sides, which makes a room within its entire footprint.
Priced at just £399 for the awning or £549 with the sides, the A2 represents the best quality and
most competitive price on the market.
The A3
The A3 rear awning is a 1.4 meter width variant of the A1 and identical other than in size, suitable
for positioning across the back of a Land Rover Defender and other models gives you excellent
cover over the rear door area.
Again, the A3 is modular and will accept the RT07 awning room and other items available from us
and priced at just £199

Awning Side panels (RTSP)
Suitable for use on our A1 & A3 awnings, these handy side panels can be purchased individually to
add a little privacy or more protection from the elements.
Simply clip the RTSP to the upper support leg of your awning and peg the bottom at the required
angle for instant cover.
Priced at £49, they are an excellent addition to your A1 & A3 side awning.
The RT04 Admin Tent
The RT04 model is a quick and easy to set up ground tent (around 30 seconds) which can be
secured to the A1 awning or left to stand alone.
With a footprint of 2x2 meters and made from the same material as the awnings and roof tents,
this brilliant little admin room is ideal for storage when leaving your camping spot for the day.
Available on a special order basis and priced at just £499.

The RT07 Awning Room
The RT07 awning tent is designed to be attached to the A1 & A3 awning giving you a 4 sided annex
room with integral roof and zipped in ground sheet. Incorporating 2 side windows with net
meshing and black out blinds, access door to the vehicle and a full sized front door, the RT07 is a
must for that extra bit of room. Priced at just £349 and available in all sizes to suit the A1 & A3.

The RT08 Awning Room
Ideal for larger groups or as a base camp, the RT08 is a massive 2.5 x 3.8 meter room which
connects to the A1 (2.5) and is exclusive to Rooftents Ltd.
Complete with 4 see through roof panels surrounded by our bespoke rip stop poly cotton canvas,
large front window and various side windows/doors. The RT08 represents a commercially viable
alternative to using market stalls or gazebos. All windows are plastic backed giving excellent
weatherproofing for its occupants and an apex roof line for maximum water drainage.
Available on a special order basis and priced at a competitive £749 including the A1 Awning.
All of our Awnings and awning rooms come complete with all fixtures and
fitting required to mount and set up, if purchasing an awning room
separately from an awning, please ensure you have the correct size.

The RT01 Roof Tent
The RT01 represents our entry level vehicle or trailer mounted roof tent. The smallest or our fold
out designs, the RT01 is ideal for travellers who require a quick and purposeful overnight tent for
up to 2 adults and 1 small child.
Quick and easy to set up and pack away, the RT01 shares the same bed size as the bigger RT02
model and comes complete with a 3 sided annex for use as a shower/cooking/storage area or for
changing in modest privacy.
Very popular within the 4x4 and surfing community, the RT01 is ideal for the off-roaders and
green-laners due to its versatility and ease of use. It’s also ideal for surfers and the like who prefer
not to sleep within the confines of their car or van.
Complete with everything you need bar a sleeping bag and pillow, the RT01 with its high density
foam mattress is the most competitively priced and ONLY UK spec roof tent on the market.

The RT02 Roof Tent
The RT02 is the most versatile vehicle or trailer mounted roof tent in our series. Based on the
extremely popular RT01 model, the RT02 differs in as much that the add on drop down annex has
4 sides with a zipped in ground sheet. The annex has a window both sides plus an internal door
allowing access to the vehicle. The RT02 also has an added section of material that extends over
the ladder and with the annex attached, completely encompasses the ladder for more space
downstairs and complete privacy when changing etc.
The RT02 is very popular with families going on touring holidays and VW transporter owners who
have outgrown their vans and require an extra bedroom for children/friends and when fitted to
open off the side of a T4 & T5, the annex and internal door fit perfectly over the sliding door of the
van.
With or without the annex, the RT02 is ideal for the quick overnight stop requirements or the full
family tourer.
Priced at just £1349, the RT02 is the most competitively priced touring roof tent on the market.

The RT03 Roof Tent
Need bigger? The RT03 is the daddy of our range! Measuring 2.2 meters by 2.4 meters, the RT03
gives you plenty of room to sleep 4 upstairs! Plus, with its full width lower annex and 2 ladders
with removable partition, the RT03 is a must for families wanting to enjoy the great outdoors.
Just as easy to set up as the RT02, the RT03 is like having 2 roof tents without the hassle of setting
them both up and means that young children are within the confines of your walls for added
security and peace of mind.
Launched in 2013, the RT03 has proven extremely popular and is now available to purchase on a
special order basis.
Larger than its double room counterparts by 20cm and weighing nearly 40KG less due to its unique
modern design. The RT03 is also considerably cheaper at only £2200 fully inclusive of the annex
and all associated parts required for setting up.

The RT05 & RT06 Roof Tents
Our range of hard shell roof tents are quick and easy to set up (less than a minute) and offer
comfortable and convenient sleeping quarters for those travelling long distance over desert
terrains.
These 2 person robust and space saving roof tents are like roof boxes in their appearance and are
ideally suited for one night stop overs.
By simply unlocking the clasps and either cranking the roof tent open (RT05) or letting the gas
struts open the tent for you (RT06), you are ready to enjoy a spacious high density foam mattress
with internal LED lighting in no time at all.
Made from premium glass fibre and heavy duty woven & waterproofed backed canvas panelling,
the RT05 & RT06 have proven themselves to be a simple yet effective design standing the test of
time since the 1960’s
Available to special order for £1349 for the 1.3 meter width, (£1449 for the 1.45 meter width
model).

Other items available
We don’t just sell roof tents! We are also able to offer various other camping and expedition
equipment, whether it’s for a weekend set up of for full on overland travel. We also offer full
bespoke vehicle conversions and equipment fitting at our workshop in Penzance (3 miles from the
main rail way station) including 2013 type approved expedition trailers built to order.
Our most popular stock item is the RTF80L, an absolute must for long range overland trips or just a
weekend away. The RTF80L is an 80 litre capacity compressor fridge/freezer with a working
temperature range of -19 below ambient and works with 12 or 240Volt. The great thing about
compressor fridges is that they are not constantly running and draw very little power compared to
a cool box or other types of fridges.
Our RTF80l also comes with an insulated heavy grade travel jacket to maximise efficiency and
protect the full metal construction from scratches.
But the best bit.....Its only £599!

are fully inclusive of VAT.

is rigorously tested, used and abused personally before it is put into production and made
available to purchase, plus our mechanical experience & overland expertise have been used on
numerous trips, overland excursions and rally raid events throughout the world.
