Timeline
January 15, 2016: Deadline for proposal acceptance
February 8, 2016: Acceptance notifications emailed to proposal authors
February 29, 2016: Deadline for presenters to register for the conference
May 1, 2016: Deadline for submission of electronic materials
June 1, 2016: Clinic room assignments sent out
June 15-17, 2016: 59th Annual Professional Conference
July 2016: Clinic feedback forms emailed
Guidelines
• Priority will be given to proposal submissions that align with the “Mission: Possible” and
continuing literacy themes
• All clinic presentations must address one or more of the Ohio Standards for Principals
• Presentation topics should be clear and specific
• Presentation should be current and relevant to pre-K, elementary, middle-level, and/or
central office educators
• All clinic presentations will be 60 minutes
• All clinic presenters, including co-presenters and teams, are required to register for the
OAESA Professional Conference by February 29, 2016.
Presenter Needs
and
Room Setup
• Please plan to use your own laptop. Your A/V equipment will be set up in advance. An A/V
technician will be on site to provide troubleshooting assistance.
• Please have the electronic version of handouts available to be included on the particpant
USB by May 1.
• Rooms will be arranged classroom-style. We will notify you of your projected attendance
approximately two weeks before the conference.
