Happy New Year from Camp Hollymont!
We hope you had a safe, fun celebration welcoming in 2014. We love watching the calendar switch
over because it means we are one step closer to
Hollymont 2014! Did you celebrate with Hollymont
friends? Send a picture to [email protected] to
be published on our social media sites. We love
watching Hollymont girls continue the love and
laughter outside of camp.
Now is a great time to think, “what is my camp resolution?” Maybe you try a new skill this year? How
about finally learning how to water ski or whitewater
raft? You may decide to step outside of your comfort
zone and apply for a different session so you can
make even more camp friends. Or perhaps you want
to stick to what you know and strengthen skills you
started last summer?

One of our goals in the office is to brainstorm new
activities to keep camp fun and exciting. Amy and
Allie started the new year by scouting for a new
overnight camp trip location. Stay tuned!
Staff Spotlight...
We are excited to announce that Jessica Peckham (formally Gardner) has started her nursing career as a Registered Nurse
with Grace Hospital in the Medical/Surgical unit. We are thankful for her gentle spirit and the time she spent with Camp
Hollymont.
Congratulations to Katie Cooper for branding her photography skills. She has started “Coop’s Photography” to showcase
her talent. Thank you for all the ways your expertise enriched our photography skill at camp!
Molly Tarr started working at Be Music and Entertainment in Nashville. We are proud of you for following your passion!

2/11: Amy is recruiting staff at the University of Georgia;
Allie will be recruiting staff at Catawba College
2/12: Hollymont will be on the beautiful Clemson University
campus for a staff fair
2/18: Amy will be at Winthrop University recruiting staff.
Come say hello if you are in the area!
2/19: We are hitting the road north to Boone to recruit
staff at Appalachian State University
2/20: Amy is headed to Winston-Salem, NC for a camp
show
2/23: Camp Show in Concord, NC
3/3: Allie will be in Charlotte, NC meeting other camp directors through the American Camp Association.
*Dates to be determined: Raleigh, NC and Charlottesville, VA
