Der Führer is back. It is present day summer and Adolf Hitler suddenly wakes up on the site of his
former bunker, now a residential area of Berlin, 70 years after his presumed demise. The war is over,
his party is no more, his beloved Eva is not there to console him and the present German society is so
multicultural he does not recognize it. But, against all the odds, Adolf Hitler begins a new career on
television because he is universally mistaken for a brilliant comedian – even though he is indeed the
genuine article and his intentions have not changed…

The Chilean coup of 1973. The masses are out on the street, protesting against General Pinochet.
Amongst them, Daniel and Lena, a young couple, which, like many others, get arrested by Pinochet’s
secret police. Shortly thereafter, Daniel finds himself trapped in a secret interrogation camp located
underground, beneath the infamous Colonia Dignidad, a German sect following the leadership of the
notorious Paul Schäfer. The Colonia presents itself as a charitable mission but, in fact, it is a place
nobody ever escaped from. Desperate to rescue her boyfriend, Lena joins the mysterious cult, hoping
to find Daniel there and making their way out. They eventually embark on a dramatic escape.

false identity, she seeks out her deceased sister’s violator and embeds herself into his idyllic family
to now destroy his life…
Like a lone cowboy she rode into town seeking her kind of justice,
and when she rides back out, she leaves behind a man and a

One day, Mike decides to put an end to the cynical joke that fate has played on him, or life as it is
called in other words. He places his own obituary and shoots himself!

To his greatest disappointment he wakes up the next day not in heaven but the local hospital. And
suddenly Mike‘s fate takes a very different turn when, during a routine examination, the doctors
discover a plum-sized tumour in his head. Mike can scarcely believe his luck and keeps his condition a secret from the adults in his life so as to avoid undergoing the operation that would save him.
Staring death directly in the eyes, however, changes Mike‘s view of life. For example, it causes him
to re-evaluate his opinion of the crazy and enchanting Miranda, the first human being who appears
to understand him. And slowly but surely, Mike develops a completely new wish.

HEIL
by Dietrich Brüggemann
Welcome to Prittwitz. The acclaimed Afro-German author Sebastian Klein is on a reading tour in East
German backwater and is given a fitting welcome by local neo-Nazis: a blow to the head. Sebastian
promptly loses his memory and parrots everything people tell him. Nina, Sebastian‘s pregnant girlfriend in Berlin, is highly agitated. Without further ado she travels to Prittwitz and teams up with the
village policeman Sascha to track down her boyfriend. He is in the hands of the neo-Nazis and their
leader Sven and feels right at home among them. Smirking, he appears on talk shows and mouths
the slogans that Sven whispers to him. A „blackie“ railing against integration - the public goes crazy.
And Sven sees himself finally on his way to becoming an opinion leader. But he isn‘t impressing
his beloved, Nazi girlfriend Doreen. She wants to see action. Historic deeds. And so Sven prepares his
people for a big showdown: however, at the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the left hand
doesn‘t know what the right hand is doing, and neither can get online at the moment. What can save
the world now? And Nina and Sebastian‘s love?

YOU CAN‘T SAVE
YOURSELF ALONE
by Sergio Castellitto
Gaetano and Delia meet for dinner to discuss the terms of the holiday break of their children. The
meal immediately turns into an emotionally charged reflection of the last 10 years which led the
separated couple to this sad but realistic point. Throughout several flashbacks, we see the two recount
their past, from good to bad, from passionate lovemaking and discovering each other to bitter
misunderstandings and stealthily alienation. But a heated exchange is morphed into an honest
contemplation of their relationship. Did it suffer the common tragic effects of time, selfishness and
insecurity? And wasn‘t it rooted in the best intentions? It becomes clear that these two were really in
love. Even though they are trying to start new lives, the wounds are still fresh enough to not get over
their lives together. But at the end of the encounter, a new dawn gives way to new hope for Delia and
Gaetano, sealed even with a kiss between them...
Gaetano and Delia, a separated couple, try to pick up the pieces
