Oración Familiar Arquidiocesana
Archdiocesan Family Prayer
L
oving and faithful God, through the years the people of
our archdiocese have appreciated the prayers and love
of Our Lady of Prompt Succor in times of war, disaster,
epidemic and illness. We come to you, Father, with Mary our
Mother, and ask you to help us in the battle of today against
violence, murder and racism.
We implore you to give us your wisdom that we may build a
community founded on the values of Jesus, which gives respect
to the life and dignity of all people.
Bless parents that they more form their children in faith. Bless
and protect our youth that they may be peacemakers of our
time. Give consolation to those who have lost loved ones
through violence.
Hear our prayer and give us the perseverance to be a voice for
life and human dignity in our community.

D
Amen.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help us.
Nuestra Señora del Pronto Socorro, apresúrate a socorrernos.

Sois los pastores que han de guiar
al mundo por sendas de paz.
Sois los amigos que quise escoger,
sois palabra que intento gritar.
Sois reino nuevo que empieza a engendrar
justicia, amor y verdad.
Comunión
Tú que caminas sobre la Mar
1. Tú que caminas sobre la mar,
calmas el viento y la tempestad.
Cubres la tierra con tu poder,
cantan los cielos tu majestad.
Estribillo
Rugen las tormentas, braman vendavales,
mas Tú, Señor, nos salvarás.
Firme está la roca que en ti se apoya,
a nuestro lado siempre estarás.

en vino puedes cambiar.
Almas y cuerpos curas del mal,
vences la muerte al resucitar.
3. Sois fuego y savia que vine a traer,
sois la ola que agita la mar.
La levadura pequeña de ayer
fermenta la masa del pan.

Communion
Light of the World
1. The One that we have seen with our
own eyes,
The One that we have touched and felt
with our own hands,
The One that we have heard with our
own ears,
The One that in the depths of our hearts
we have met:
He is the One who we proclaim to you …
His splendour is on all,
For he shines upon the world.
2. So many in our world drift into sleep,
while others only know a darkness without end.
Let brothers rise to call them from the
deep!
Let sisters take their hands to heal and be
their friends.
Together, let us stand against the storm
and in the heart of night be the watchers
of the morn.
Refrain
The light of the world
The salt of the earth,
We scatter the darkness
When love becomes our way.
The light of the world
Christ is our light.
We shine with his brightness,
The reflection of his light
From day to day!
Page 4
3. So many feel that they have yet to find
the meaning of their lives,
their value and their worth;
If we just walked along with hearts made
kind …
And listened to their tales and sought to
ease their hurt;
Perhaps they’d hearken to the news we
bear,
And in the broken bread,
Come to know true love and care!
4. No worth has salt if it should lose its
taste.
No usefulness has light if it is hid’n away!
So may our souls, our hearts, our minds
be graced,
And for the Spirit’s gifts and power let us
pray!
May truth abide in everything we do;
May love and justice reign!
And may God our world renew!

You Are My All In All
1. You are my strength
when I am weak.
You are the treasure
that I seek.
You are my all in all.
Seeking You as a precious jew'l,
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool.
You are my all in all.
Refrain
Hands and Feet
1. An image flashed across my TV screen,
another broken heart comes into view.
I saw the pain and I turned my back.
Why can't I do the things I want to?
I am willing yet I'm so afraid
You give me strength
When I say:
2. I wanna be Your hands,
I wanna be Your feet.
I'll go where You send me,
I'll go where You send me.
I'll be Your hands,
I'll be Your feet.
I'll go where You send me,
I'll go where You send me.
And I'll try, yeah, I'll try
to touch the world like You touched my
life.
And I'll find my way to be Your hands.
3. I've abandoned ev'ry selfish thought,
I've surrendered ev'rything I've got.
You can have ev'rything I am,
And perfect ev'rything I'm not.
I am willing I'm not afraid.
You give me strength
When I say:
4. I wanna be Your way.
This is the last time
I turn my back on You.

From now on I'll go out
Send me where You want me to.
I fin'lly have a mission
I promise I'll complete.
I don't need excuses
when I am Your hands and feet,
I am Your hands and feet.
Hands (hands, hands, hands)
feet (feet, feet, feet)
go (go, go, go)
go (go, go).
Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long for You in
my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You
have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You.
5. I wanna be Your hands,
I wanna be Your feet.
I'll go where You send me,
I'll go where You send me.
I'll be Your hands,
I'll be Your feet.
I'll go where You send me,
I'll go where You send me.
I wanna be Your hands,
I wanna be Your feet.

WEEKEND RETREAT FOR COUPLES
SACRED HEART ENTHRONEMENT
ROSARYVILLE
“I am the light of the world, says the Lord; whoever
follows me will have the light of life.”We
life.”
are expected
to follow Jesus and His teachings to become like Him.
He also taught that merely saying, “Lord, Lord” would
not get us into heaven. Let’s not fool ourselves – we
have work to do. We just have to look around and it is
easy to see the cloud of darkness which covers the
earth – everywhere the evil one is busy placing his
mark on those who turn away from Christ and His
teachings. We live in an age of great apostasy in which
it is fashionable to follow some commandments and
ignore others which are not to our liking. This is exactly
what satan wants us to do; he seeks to divide us and
claim large numbers of souls for his kingdom of death
and darkness. However, Jesus says to us, “Whoever
lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works
may be clearly seen as done in God.” Merciful Son of
God, deliver us from evil and draw us to Your light.
Amen.

" Hijo misericordioso
de Dios, líbranos del mal y atráenos
a Su luz.
