HOLLYHOCK EXISTS TO INSPIRE,
NOURISH AND SUPPORT PEOPLE
MAKING THE WORLD BETTER
Hollyhock is your lifelong learning treasure trove.
Near road’s end on the West Coast of the continent, the
miracle sights, sounds and scents of this mythical island
paradise revitalize you instantly. 33 years of diverse knowledge
shared. Each day builds upon the next.
Open a door to your inner journey.
Peruse this educational program guide. Pick anything. Week after
week, incredible opportunities await. Popular teachers return. New stars shine. Or
simply chill, write, meditate, do yoga, sleep well, eat healthy, have expert bodywork,
hang with a loved one. Explore facets of meaning that matter most. Our stellar staff
will welcome and care for you like family.
We support you with a setting that pampers you with delectable delights,
ocean swims, hot soaking tubs, engaging people, reflective depth, and profound
nature. These all enhance your highest intentions.
Wisdom at the root, skills, insight, quality and a curriculum of self enhancement
in every way, all crafted for you.
Better health, heart, mind, relationships, and satisfaction.
The goal is a thriving world for the long term.
Please help us permanently secure the magical Hollyhock campus land through
our Forever Fund. One million dollars more of charitable donations, and our
mortgage will be gone. Consider adding the word “Hollyhock” to your Will. Donate a
scholarship or give a gift to a loved one. Be part of crafting legacy.
Our grandchildren will be grateful.
Make the epic journey, and odds are you will return. The experience begins the
moment you decide to go. Slowing down for an inner makeover always increases
effectiveness.
Imagine a place with giant cedars, bald eagles, salmon nation, oyster strewn
beaches, snow capped peaks, First Nations strong, sweet Salish Sea breezes,
delicious Cortes water, rich scents, silky oxygen, great green wild lands, sincere
motivated people, years of purposeful work in the air, the best teachers in the
world, and you…
Hollyhock is for you. These are our golden times,

Who What Why
Vision Hollyhock is a non-profit educational institute dedicated to personal,
professional and organizational development that advances consciousness,
connection and learning toward solutions for a better future.

Local Community Cortes Island is home to a creative and eclectic culture, in
Mark Deutschmann, Margery Moore,
Cara Pike, Michael Tippet, Jessy Tolkan,
Victoria Watson
the midst of one of North America’s most spectacular and natural settings near
the end of the road on the West Coast of the continent.
STAFF
Beginning The Hollyhock land was a summer gathering place of the Coast
Salish people. The 20th century saw a settler homestead built. In the early 70’s
came Cold Mountain, a pioneering human potential education centre. In 1982 a
group of friends transformed Hollyhock into a lifelong learning and leadership
institute. The tall red flowers in the overgrown garden inspired the name.
Find the whole story, which includes a gypsy fortune teller, at:
hollyhock.ca/ourstory.
Today Hollyhock is a near-mythical and iconic place, far from daily pressures.
Reconnect with self, health and calling, through brilliant teachers.
The natural world inspires deep learning. There’s no place on earth like Hollyhock.
Future In 2008 ownership was donated into the Hollyhock charity. Hollyhock
alumni provide ongoing financial support for the longevity of this extraordinary
education facility. Potent transformational curriculum and setting empower
people and culture to create long term solutions.
