About Stephenson Equipment
Since Paul Stephenson founded Stephenson Equipment in 1957,
there have been just two additional owners, and both were long
time employees before they purchased the company. The second
owners, from 1992 to 2003, were Jim Penman and his wife, Karen,
and the third are the current owners, Dennis Heller and Bob Criste.
In both cases, the owners had joined Stephenson Equipment and
assumed more and more responsibility, as they became
increasingly dedicated to expanding the company.
Over the years, Stephenson Equipment has specialized in asphalt
and excavating construction equipment. Today, the company has
seven locations in southern and northeastern Pennsylvania and
upstate New York. We have consistently presented equipment
innovations, like the utility milling machine, to our customers, and
almost any type of paving or construction machinery that’s
manufactured is now available at any of our locations.
Stephenson Equipment has a close group of employees who are
dedicated to taking care of customers and providing them
everything they might need to do their jobs well. The brands we
represent can be counted on for reliable performance all day,
everyday, and our parts and service support is excellent.

Stephenson Equipment helps maximize uptime for customers with
same day parts delivery and on-site emergency service 24 hours a
day. Technicians are factory trained for any equipment they
service.
We have state-of-the-art repair facilities and diagnostic equipment
at each of our locations to troubleshoot a situation quickly, identify
problems, and offer solutions to enhance your equipment’s
performance. Rebuild services are also available as an economical
alternative to purchasing a new machine.
When you need extra machines, Stephenson Equipment will deliver
clean, well maintained rental equipment right to your job site. You
can always count on getting good value by choosing a machine that
meets your equipment needs from our used equipment fleet.
Stephenson Equipment can satisfy all of your paving and

including: JCB, forestry equipment from Bandit, mowing equipment
from Tiger, sweepers from Python, road maintenance equipment
from Leeboy, Rosco, Midland, Dynapac, Roadhog and Terex (CMI
and Cedarapids) and trailers from Rogers.
