Located in beautiful countryside and situated in the heart of north
Pembrokeshire, Tycanol is a traditional three/four bedroom farmhouse.
It sits in about 18 acres at the foot of the Preseli Hills, and would make
an ideal equestrian centre, or perfect for anyone looking for the ‘Good
Life’. In need of some updating it offers considerable potential as a
holiday let unit, or a wonderful family home. For anyone who enjoys
riding there are several bridleways nearby that open up onto the Preseli
Hills.
The village of Crymych is about ten minutes drive away with its shops,
health centre, Welsh Medium secondary school, primary school and
nursery, pubs, and cafes. The popular coastal town of Newport is within
easy reach.

Seller Insight
“Before we purchased Ty Canol in 1989, we used to holiday
in the area year after year” says Sue “During that time we
completely fell in love with the location and when we decided to expand
our riding and adventure holidays for children. We could not think of a
better location when we stumbled across Ty Canol, the land that it offered
combined with the glorious setting at the foot of the Preseli Hills and close
to the varied North Pembrokeshire coastline ticked all the boxes”
“Ty Canol was close to derelict” continues Sue “over the years we have
renovated and extended it to create a lovely family home. We have done
extensive work however I feel there is still potential for someone to come
in and put their stamp on it to enhance the property further”.
“The garden has a natural feel and is very pretty” says Sue. “We have
a BBQ area which is a real sun trap and takes in the magnificent views.
The rest of the garden is mainly lawn and shrubs with a stream running
alongside. It is a beautiful space that is an absolute haven for wildlife; we
often see a pair of red kites gliding overhead.”
“Although our immediate location is wonderfully rural, we have
a scattering of friendly neighbours and together we form a great
community” says Sue “the house is just a few minutes drive from
Crymych, which caters for most day-to-day needs and places such as
Newport, Cardigan and Carmarthen are also within easy reach”.
“It is been a terribly hard decision, but the time has come for me to
downsize” says Sue. “This has been a wonderful home for the past twenty
six years and I will miss the spectacular location the most”. *

18 acres of beautiful grounds that incorporate a generous garden, rolling fields and various outbuildings.

The land and the gorgeous setting allowed us to run a thriving business, incorporating
our hobbies, including horse riding and dog walking, straight from our yard to explore the
stunning scenery. We also had the opportunity to do many water sports whilst running a working
smallholding. In my mind there is tremendous scope to do so much more with the property.
