The Mohamed Sathak Trust, which is a charitable and educational organization, was established on 26th October 1973 at Madras, by the philanthropic Mohamed Sathak Family of Kilakarai, Ramnad District, Tamil
Nadu, with the sole purpose of helping deprived from rural and financially
challenged background to quality education. From the day the first selffinancing engineering college in the country was established by the trust
in 1984 at Kilakarai, the Trust has been contributing to provide quality
education with academic excellence to meet the requirements of industries at national and international levels. The trust administers 19 schools
and colleges at Kilakarai, Ramnad and Chennai.The gamut of higher education from arts and science to physiotheraphy and nursing to engineering to medical sciences is covered under the trusts’ operation. In our trust
we believe that malice towards none, with charity for all, with fitness in
the right, we strive on to finish the work we are in, to build up our nation.
The trust manages and maintains the following institutions in Kilakarai,

The foudation of every state is in the education of its youth.The Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Engineering was founded by an order of
the All India Council for Technical Education on the 5th of July 2001.
It is a co-educational institution with the noble aim of imparting quality technical education to produce high quality engineers, technologist and managers to meet the requirement of industries at National
and International levels.The College campus,sprawling over 70 acres
of greenery , is adjacent to SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri and is surrounded
by Multinational IT Companies such TCS,CTS,Syntel,Solverminds,Tyc
hons etc.It has all the infrastructure facilities such as spacious classrooms, drawing halls, laboratories,Computer facilities with Internet
connectivity,Library,Workshops and Playground of International standards.The college also has a state-of-the-art 300 seater air - conditioned auditorium.
