Scott Kiche
Scott Kiche is a contemporary representational realist artist living in Los
Angeles. He has worked as a realist
artist throughout his entire career
and his artwork continues to be collected by art enthusiasts, corporate
buyers, and fellow artists.
Kiche was born in Guatemala in
1974. Like many artists, his art
journey began at a very early age. His
natural talent, along with encouragement from teachers and family,
helped to instill his commitment to
become a fine artist. He has exhibited in Mexico City and throughout
the U.S.
In 2014, Kiche received an honored
invitation by The Representational
Art Conference 2014 (TRAC2014)
presented by California Lutheran
University to participate in the
prestigious and historically important annual gathering of influential
representational artists throughout
the world.
In 2011, Kiche’s work appeared
in the movie Spy Kids 4. In 2010,
his artwork completed a successful
tour with the International Realism
Guild-a two year traveling museum
exhibition that explored the current
state of realism in the 21st century.
He has received awards in several
group shows and is published in
books and artistic publications. One
of his drawings is included in book
Strokes of Genius 6: The Best of
Drawing.
He has been and is a member of
several prestigious art organizations: California Art League,
California Art Club, International
Realism Guild of America, and
currently by invitation the American Society of Traditional Artists.
He is currently represented in Texas
by the Wally Workman Gallery in
Austin, and the Jack Meier Gallery
in Houston, and the Waterhouse
Gallery in Santa Barbara, California.

twelve years ago, and has enjoyed that
medium for its fresh, vibrant colors
and ease of application. More recently,
she has been working with acrylics,
oils, and colored pencils.
Her work is currently shown at galleries in Ventura, Thousand Oaks,
Camarillo, Westlake Village and Ojai.
Her paintings hang in a number of
private and corporate collections,
including Los Robles Hospital and
Kaiser Permanente offices in Thousand Oaks, and on the television show,
“How I Met Your Mother.”
Judith is married to photographer

Carolyn Ryan is vice president of the
Thousand Oaks Art Association, and
a member of Studio Art Quilters Association, Westlake Village Art Guild,
Studio Channel Islands Art Center,
Arts Council Conejo Valley, and The
Group of 8 Professional Fiber Artists.
She is a printmaker and fiber artist,
and also works in multimedia.
She says, “When my artwork is described by others as “evocative” I’m
satisfied. I used to focus on “intent”
in my pieces, but now I understand
that each viewer brings his or her own
particular universe of emotion and
experience to the viewing moment.
In fact, that very interactive space is
what completes art – what finishes the
journey.”
She has won numerous awards and
exhibition examples include: Ojai
Valley History and Art Museum,
Long Beach Convention Center,
Poway Center for the Performing Arts,
Escondido Art Gallery, Florida Center for the Performing Arts, and the
Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.
She is a native Californian, Claremont
Colleges graduate, and was a magazine
editor for 25 years. Her career developed a rich background to inform her
life as an artist.
She and husband Tom have been married 46 years (three children and eight
grandchildren).
