“You fools!” After years of plotting, evil mastermind Eugenius finds he may actually
succeed in taking over the world, if he can only defeat his worst enemy…
This twisted new comedy fills in the dirty details left out by Marvel and DC for an
unmitigated and uncensored look into a day in the life of a comic book bad guy.
Local playwright DANIEL GALIANO rips into modern superhero mania with a
warped cynicism that could only have come from Commercial Drive. Moonlighting
as a manager at The Rio Theatre, he’s on the front lines with the obsessive
fanboys and fangirls lining up around the block to take in the latest Stan Leeinspired CGI shit-storm. Galiano brings his twisted take on what super-heroism is
really like home to The Drive at The Cultch Historic Theatre with The Antagonist.
Vancouver Actor/Comedian/Musician SEAN AMSING aka KABOOM ATOMIC
plays Eugenius, a supervillain who, like the rest of us, really just wants to be cool.
“What good is the power of world domination when nobody wants to invite you to
the pub?” Amsing’s off-the-cuff irreverence paints a portrait of the most allpowerful douchebag the world has ever seen. “When I’m finished, you’ll be sorry!”
