On the 14th day of May, 1964, the City Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lufkin, Texas, convened in regular meeting
in the Council Room at City Hall with the following members thereof,

Meeting called to order by prayer by Edgar C. Wareing.
2.
Minutes of previous meeting were approved as written.
3.
Chairman Atwell read letter from Herman Brown, i.anager of
Angel ma County Chamber of Commerce to City Planning and
Zoning Commission to which was attached map of 60 acre tract
which was recently zoned to Lid District showing street layout
and requested C ity approval of the I ayout.
The map was examined and discussed by City Planning and Zoning Commission members and E. Lynn I!ietteauer made motion that
City Engineer discuss with Texas Highway Department and then
report to Chairman and write letter to Mr. Brown advising of
recommendations. Edgar C. Wareing seconded motion and a unanimous vote was recorded.
4. There being no further business for consideration, meeting
was adjourned.
