MEANING OF THE NAME
EXPERIENCE
Before being the name of a wine, « Fauquet » was
the name of a family. Louise Fauquet brought
land from Gigondas to the Domain by her
marriage with Mr Roger Combe. That is why, she
transmitted to the vineyard a second prestigious
appellation : Gigondas. We wanted to pay tribute
to this union and to the previous generations.
Light garnet color ;
Fragrances of garrigue, thym and bay ;
Very flavorful in the mouth ;
Dark fruits, raspberry and pomegranate
aromas ;
Smooth and fine tannins ;
The finish is long with some mentholated
notes.

Delicious with a tender piece of beef or a leg
of lamb.
FEATURES
The 30 years-old vines of Le Fauquet remain in
a place called « Le Petit Montmirail » southwest
of the famous limestone massif : Les Dentelles
de Montmirail. The vines produce a greedy
wine very fruity with rich aromas. A pure and
distinguished wine with Grenache, Syrah and
Mourvedre grape varieties.

The 2012 vintage won the silver
