This web page is maintained and regularly updated with content specific to Teachers, grades PreK through 12th grade. This Teacher Portal also has as Login area asking for Username and Password. To log in, Teachers should enter the following information: Username: The letter P and 8 digit personnel number - ex. P00054321 Password: 8-digit personnel number - ex 00054321. Click SUBMIT. Access Instruction and Directions pg# 9 Once a teacher has logged in successfully, the page to the right appears. Two columns of content currently exist on this Teacher Portal Curriculum Resources and Teacher Tools. The Curriculum Resources represents web links, attachments, and resources immediately accessible by clicking on the items in the list. The Teacher Tools represents applications currently available to teachers. These “tools” are available for immediate use and do not require a separate username and password. The Teacher Portal has been developed so that a “single sign-on” is all that is necessary to access curriculum resources and teacher tools. These two columns will continue to expand and grow, giving teachers access to all of the available resources provided by Broward County Schools. NEWS!!! Learning Village - a new application that provides access to Unit Plans, Lesson Plans, Resources and Activities that are standards-based and aligned to Broward County’s Curriculum Maps Virtual Counselor - access to current student performance data and the Electronic Academic Improvement Plan (AIP) Atomic Learning - access to online tutorials specific to technology applications and technology integration Riverdeep LMS - access to the Destination Math and Destination Reading series for students K-8 BlackBoard - access to the online Blackboard courses offered through Broward County’s Virtual University Virtual University - access to a complete course listing of online course offerings available to Broward County teachers and administrators For Access Instruction and Directions contact Dr. Bob Elwell, K-12 Curriculum Specialist - Core Curriculum Dept. 754-321-1859 B.E.E.P. Access Instruction and Directions pg# 11 Clicking on Learning Village (in the Teacher Tools column), will open a new window and display the Learning Village tool for teachers. The screen welcomes you to the instructional level you are assigned to teach. This welcome page has current news and headlines specific to curriculum and instruction. It is maintained and regularly updated by the Core Curriculum Department of Broward County Schools. Read the headlines often for information specific to the instructional level you teach. Unit Plans have been developed for K - 12 instruction in the areas of Art, Foreign Language, Language Arts, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. You have the ability to Search or Create Unit Plans. Use the accordingly. Use the to browse and move from page to page. NOTE - Pages are displayed in increments of 10. When you initially login to BEEP and access Learning Village, you are welcomed at the level you are assigned to teach. To change levels, click on “CHANGE LOCATION” in the upper right hand corner. Use the pull down “Curriculum Level” and select accordingly, then click .
