Introduction
Mission - Positive American Youth's (PAY) mission is to reach our youth through positive and productive events and
activities by building lasting relationships that will strengthen America. Hence our motto:
"People Helping People Help Themselves”.
We are kicking off our calendar year with a free community event called “PAYDAY”. Each year PAYDAY continues to
grow to reach more of the community. With your help we can make this year’s event the most successful ever!
In our Sixth “PAYDAY” Positive American Youth, Inc is striving to promote the importance of education and community to our youth. By
adding the power of entertainment we can easily identify with the youth, in order to relay the Positive American Youth, Inc message. We
are inviting our corporate neighbors to get involved to increase the impact of our message.
This years “PAYDAY” will begin with Soccer and Basketball Camps. Each camp is free for Boys & Girls ages 8 through 14. The Soccer
camp will be hosted by Soccer World and the Basketball Camp will be hosted by Coach Pritchett (Head Coach and Athletic Director of
Atlanta Metropolitan College) and members of the Atlanta Metropolitan College basketball team. The camps will precede the Celebrity
Basketball Game and Step Show.
Positive American Youth, Inc. (P.A.Y.) has once again teamed up with Radio One Atlanta’s
Hot 107.9FM to be our media and promotions partner for this years 7th Annual PAYDAY on Saturday October 26th at 11am.
This year the entire event will be free to the public.
We are proud to say last year’s event was very successful! There were over 3,500 people in attendance of which 2,900 were
children between the ages of six through seventeen.
PAYUSA’s partnerships with Radio One Atlanta and The United Athletes Foundation will bring celebrities, professional athletes
and entertainers to play against the Hotshots of Hot 107.9FM for the Celebrity Basketball Game.
