Pellereau launches interactive storybook for kids - Timmy Tickle
London, 31 May 2012 – Nimblebean today launched the latest version of Timmy
Tickle, an app for iPhone and iPad. Timmy Tickle, an interactive storybook written and
designed for children aged two to five, is the creation of Harriet Pellereau, sister of 2011
Apprentice winner and Stylfile inventor Tom Pellereau. The launch will be a blessing for
thousands of parents who want to entertain their kids on journeys over the long

navigation and is now available on iPhone, iPod Touch and the new iPad.

By touching and tapping the screen children can:
• cheer Timmy up by tickling him
• match which fruit he’s imitating
• play nursery rhymes on Timmy’s xylophone
• learn to count with his colourful balloons
• help Timmy wash up and spin-dry plates (trying
not to smash them!)
• make him roller-skate (and help him up if he falls)
• discover Timmy’s enchanting costume collection

As well as learning and playing with Timmy children can
also colour in eight different Timmy adventures. The
pictures can be saved to iPhoto so parents can share
their childrens' creations with friends and family on
Facebook or via text/email.

Timmy Tickle is available for iPad and iPhone on
the App Store from May 31st 2012
Pricing
Timmy Tickle will be priced at £1.49 for the iPad and £0.69 for
the iPhone and iPod iTouch, with those who have previously
bought it on the iPad getting the latest version free. By
charging for the app, Harriet has been able to avoid both
in-app advertising and in-app purchases, ensuring that
childrens’ ability to enjoy the story is not limited or distracted,
and parents will not find themselves under pressure to make
additional purchases within the app.
Competition
Parents can even enter their childrens’ pictures, drawn on
Timmy Tickle, into a competition to win a £200 Lavish spa
voucher and a colouring set for their talented offspring. Five
runners up will receive a Stylfile so they can give themselves a
manicure while their child plays with Timmy. Details of the

About Harriet Pellereau
Originally a digital creative specialising in 3D animation and graphic design Harriet was inspired to combine
her experience in design and technology with her passion for reading and education. She taught herself
how to develop apps to explore the potential of touch-screen technology to help children learn, read and
engage with characters. Timmy Tickle is Harriet’s first interactive children’s story and learning experience.

months about how their kids could play with Timmy and other features they’d enjoy.
I had a fantastic opportunity to develop the app even more and add new
interactive features and creative play elements such as the colouring section which
also gives budding artists the chance to send their grandparents their works of art.
