Dear Student,
We welcome you to our Jetking Learning Center. We at Jetking, strive to offer you a better life at our institution and thereafter. Which is why, we lay high important on providing you with better
courses, infrastructure and quality education in the field of Information Technology and
Infrastructure Management Services. We see Jetking as not just an I.T institution, but a way of life.
Today, as we all stand witness to the I.T revolution, we’ve seen and experienced the inevitable role
of computers, in the personal and professional lives of human beings. With a push of a button,
people are executing big ideas, enjoying shopping without getting mob-cramped, seeking
entertainment and recreation, meeting strangers without traveling, and above all, connecting with
their loved-ones regardless of how far they are placed. Today it’s easy to marvel at how far we've
come. Our phones talk to our TV’s to record our favourite shows. Doctors in India diagnose patients
in Denmark. Social networks help companies improve customer service.
Industries, economies and nations are running on this gigantic network. Eventually, trees will talk to
networks and networks will talk to scientists about climate change. Traffic lights will talk to cars and
cars will talk to road sensors about increasing traffic efficiency. Ambulances will talk to patients'
records and they will further talk to doctors about saving lives. It's a phenomenon we call the
internet of everything - an unprecedented opportunity for today's business. And it is this need that
is generating the requirement for more and more I.T engineers every day.
We would like to reassure you, as to why choosing Computer Hardware and Networking from
Jetking is the right choice to seek a better life.
46 % of students in India feel, their higher education studies does not improve their employment
opportunities. 39 % of employers say, a skills shortage is leading to entry-level vacancies.
By these facts, I would like to stress on the importance of employability and skills development
before you join your respective industry. By coming to Jetking, you have chosen the best for
Computer Hardware and Networking.
I once again welcome you aboard this journey, and wish you a better life and a great future ahead.
All the best!

S.M.A.R.T goals for a better life
Somebody has succinctly described, success as hierarchy of needs which are Universal and easy
to understand, where are you are and where you need to reach.
SHLOKA
Udyamena hi sidhyanti
karyani na manorathaih |
na hi suptasya simhasya
pravishanti mukhe mrigah ||
Only by action is the work possible, not by mere thinking. Like a deer would not walk into the mouth of a sleeping lion.
Tell me something
about yourself
How will it affect
your dreams of
supporting your family?
Tell me something
about your
family background
What made you
consider Jetking for
Hardware & Networking?
Do you think you
will have a good life
if your problems
are addressed?
What will happen
if the problems you
have stated get solved?
What will happen
if you
don’t get a job?
What do you
want to be,
say, 3-5 years
from today?
Every individual needs to satisfy each of the below needs, step by step during the course of his lifetime. While, the
first three levels of needs can be satisfied by the presence of fulfilling personal relationships, the gratification of
the latter requires a credible professional partner and this is where Jetking steps in.
• SelfActualisation
needs: Realizing
personal potential,
self-fulfillment, seeking
personal growth and peak
experiences.
• Self Esteem needs: Feelings
related to self-esteem, achievement,
mastery, independence, status, dominance,
prestige, managerial responsibility, etc.
• Social needs: The need for affection
from different relationships like work group, family, friends, etc.
• Safety needs: Protection from elements, security, order, law, limits, stability, etc.
• Physiological needs: Air, food, drink, shelter, warmth, sex, sleep, etc.

Examples of tracking your goal:
What is Success? Why do you need a Goal?
Hi. I’m Jetking, and I am your career guidance coach. I have 66 years of experience in guiding students
like you towards making the right career decisions, thus helping them secure a successful job.
S = Specific
Clearly state the desired outcome.
M = Measurable
Provide a numerical target that clearly defines, what results are necessary to achieve
the goals.
A = Attainable
Goals must be realistic or people will become disengaged.
R = Realistic
The goal should be realistic and achievable, within the time you’ve set.
T = Trackable
Goals should be tracked continuously, to find out where you have reached,
what percentage has been accomplished, how much has to be accomplished, and so on.
Starting your own Computer and Networking maintenance store
1st year goal: Study daily for at least 2 hours; make notes; ask questions in class; do assignment; make the
mind map of each session.
2nd year goal: Work with a small or medium size company; master technology, repair and maintenance.
3rd year goal: Shift gears. Try to find a job in a technology company, where part of your job is Sales - selling
computers or computer parts. If you are a graduate, join an MBA Distance Education Programme.
4th year goal: Join a company that will give some Financial Account/Cost Accounting ideas. It is not very
difficult to get into a company which provides accounts-related challenges.
5th Year goal: Start your own business or work at a senior position.

bring out a “New You” and learn better in the classroom.
THE FOUNDATION OF PERFECTION
One of the critical studies that influenced the
development of the SmartLab Plus methodology was
the research carried out in 1880 by Hermann
Ebinghaus. He proved that if people are exposed to
an idea once, then after 30 days they retain less than
10% of the content.
A hundred years later, Albert Mehrabian found that
students exposed to an idea six times, with regular
interval reinforcement through a period of 30 days,
retain more than 90% of the content taught. Internal
reinforcement is a technique wherein an idea
presented once is reviewed perhaps 10 minutes later,
an hour later, a day later, 3 days later, a week later,
and so on. Basically, a method wherein topics are
reviewed at regular intervals. At Jetking, we present
the theory/concept and then review it at regular
intervals via practicals, quizzes, triads, e-learning,
mind maps, window panes, student presentations and
brainstorming sessions, to name a few.
Exposed to idea six times
After 30 days > 90% retention
Exposed to idea one times
After 30 days < 10% retention
