What is a tractor pull
Kid’s pedal a vintage 1950’s highly
modified tractor with an attached weight
transfer sled. Metal plates are loaded
according to their age category for them to
pedal and pull the sled down a 25 ft track. If
reaching the end they achieve a “full pull” or
a “pull out”. From there they move into the
finals with increased weight with some kid’s
being known to pull up to 500lbs. The
suspense and drama is action packed with
music to build the excitement with the
audience.
THE SET UP and
REQUIREMENTS
LOCATION LOCATION
LOCATION. Like anything the location is
key to ensuring a successful show.
The space is approx 20X45 ft for our fence
system. A flat level surface of either
concrete or asphalt is required and if not
available, we can lay a plywood track on
grass or gravel surfaces. Power is required
for a sound system that we provide. Though
it’s not required Straw bails make for
wonderful seating for participants. 15-20
work wonderful.
