Illustrated Labels
From 1980 to 2005
From 1980 to 2005 the Château Siran labels have been
illustrated by an artist.
Each illustration concerns a special event of the year.
Different themes have been described for last 26 years:
art, science, sport, history and politics.
Sometimes the chosen artist was linked with the theme.
For example, in 1990 an English painter illustrated the
Channel Tunnel, or in 1988 a Russian artist illustrated
‘Glasnost’and ‘Perestroika’
These 26 years are gathered in this catalogue.
