the better!
Give yourself the best chance of being accepted!
Each year Motorvation attracts hundreds of applications but with only 500 positions
available for the show, it’s important to put your best foot forward.
The Motorvation Selection Committee looks for high presentation levels, unique
features (body work, decals, monster stereo systems, body kits etc) and variety of
vehicles.
Make sure the photos of your car show it in good condition and that any modifications
or special features are noted on the comment section of the application. If your car is in
the middle of getting some work done, take the best photos you can and explain what
you intend to do with the car in the comment section.

FORMULA TECH ELITE PAVILION & GRAND CHAMPION BOOST
The Elite pavilion is reserved for those Motorvation entrants whose cars are truly
exceptional.
The Elite Pavilion entrants enjoy a number of privileges and benefits in exchange for
having their car on show.
The best reward is a refund of your base entry price and automatic judging!
You can choose to be considered for the Elite display area on your entry form.
This does not guarantee you will be accepted as we strive to have only the very best
cars.
Each bay is sized at 4 metres wide x 6 metres deep and acceptance into the Elite area
requires Entrants to provide full display items, including flooring and fencing to a
standard befitting the vehicle and event.
…and for Motorvation 29, we are taking Formula Tech ELITE to a whole new level:
•
•
•
•
$5,000 first prize for Grand Champion, the richest award of its type in Australia!
Elite Entrants now receive two (2) additional passes for Friday setup.
Also ensuring a smooth entry for entrants and families, too.
Express entry lane for smooth entry into the event.
ACTION ELITE
Last year, Action Elite display area was a new introduction to Motorvation and is the step
between the Elite Pavilion and Performance Park display areas. Action Elite cars will be
on display and judged with other outstanding entrants in a special area, but will also be
able to participate in selected driving events - including the some of the Supercruises.
EVENT ACTIVITIES
PERFORMANCE PARK
The Performance Park display area was previously known as the Pit Paddock and is
where the majority of our entrants display— we continue to strive to maintain a very high
standard of entrants and therefore there is no guarantee that your car will be accepted.
The Pit Paddock is fully grassed with a number of power boxes spread throughout the
area giving access to 10 amp power with an average of 30m2 per vehicle being
allocated.
Clubs and Groups are advised to arrange their requirements early to avoid
disappointment as space is at a premium.
SERIOUS ABOUT SWEET, STREET!
We have listened and we are excited. Top TEN Street Machines and Top
FIVE Street Rods will share in prize money…and GLORY at MV29!
DRIVING EVENTS
Driving is the GO element of the Motorvation, show!
Each year, more entrants are keen to actually participate and drive their machines and
we provide plenty of opportunities for this.
If you want to the chance to prove your car goes as good as it shows, you can enter
yourself into any or all of our driving events including the Megaskid (aimed at big
horsepower vehicles that can produce a big long straight line smokey), Go-to-whoa (a
100 metre sprint to a beam where you must stop within 10 metres of breaking the beam
or be disqualified) and Slalom (accelerate and weave through witches hats, trying not to
knock over cones and incur penalties, for the fastest time).
AUDIO PRECISION SOUND-OFF
The Sound Off is a chance for car audio enthusiasts to show what their car audio
equipment is capable of in a competitive environment amongst some of the best noise
makers WA has to offer. This year will see a Battle Style competition pitting car against
car. Competitors will first be divided up into different classes based on the level of
equipment in each vehicle.
FORMULA TECH DYNO KING
The Dyno competition is pretty straight forward—does your car have the greatest
horsepower in it’s category? Prove it without a doubt with the Formula Tech Dyno,
during Motorvation Sunday.
You will have to nominate for the Dyno on your entry form so that we can allocate you
with a session time. To view the various Dyno classes visit our website.
KFC BURNOUTS
Burnouts on the Perth Motorplex KFC Burnout PAD is the stuff of legend, around
Australia. Competitors smoke-it up in front of massive crowds at Motorvation!
From Friday night it will be game on for Motorvation Burnout glory with a key opening
qualifying round of Burnouts Battle! Friday is no longer the place for exhibition skids competitors will need to bring it, right from the get go with Sunday Final incentives for
STREET Competitors.
For PRO class cars, they are waging battle for $10,000 to win, come Sunday!
MEGASKID MAX
Last year, on Motorvation Friday night - so the start of something special. Megaskid Max
is a high-dollar mega skid competition that is particularly appeal to PRO class burnout
competitors as the ideal shakedown run for the event weekend.
ENTRY PROCESS
CREDENTIALS
If you are accepted into Motorvation you will be notified via email towards the end of
the year.
After this you will only be contacted via email as the event approaches.
All credentials (tickets) must be picked up during Motorvation at the credentials
building and will not be sent out to you.
BAY ALLOCATION
If you’re planning on displaying with a friend or a group it’s important that you note this
on your entry form under the space for ‘Club/Group I will be displaying with’ - if you
don’t, you may well end up on either side of our very large pit paddock.
It is highly recommended that clubs and groups enter as early as possible to ensure
necessary space requirements can be met.
If your club/group intend to use significant tents or marquees in your area, you need
to indicate the size of such, and tent contractor details - so we can work with you to
cater for this.
Entering in a Club or Grouping does not mean automatic acceptance as each
vehicle still has to meet entry criteria.
CAMPING
Camping with your car is an integral part of Motorvation for many Entrants and is
something we all look forward to every year.
If you do want to camp, let us know on your entry form.
All Entrants wishing to camp must have the appropriate Arm Band to stay overnight.
All entrants must make sure their area is neat and tidy before Spectator Gates open at
5:30pm Friday, 10:00am Saturday and Sunday of Motorvation.
As always No Fires, No Agro, No glass and the later it gets... the quieter it gets - please
be mindful of your fellow campers.
