Things you need to do first: 1. Wear your garment EVERY DAY. Doing so will help your retail money grow and draw people to you. 2. Send your Sponsor “ASAP” the top 3 reasons why you want to do this business. Be specific. It always helps to put a price on your goals. i.e. I want to buy my first house - $200K I want to put my kids in private school - $50K a year I want a new car - $30K I want to put $10K in the bank every month 3. Make a list of your top 50 people who are friends or family or who are family/friends of family or friends, who want to drop 2-3 sizes in 10 minutes. 4. Make a list of 50 people who want to and/or need to earn extra income. 5. Attempt to contact at least 25 people per day, “Attempt” some days that is going to be impossible. But at least you would have touched base with at least 1 to 5 every day. 6. Schedule your first demonstration within 72 hours to a week. 7. Go into your back office and go through "Ardyss University" for excellent training. 8. Listen to as many training conference calls as you can. 9. Attend your weekly business opportunity meetings. 10. And if at all possible, schedule one-on-one training time with your up-line. NOTE: We communicate MOSTLY via text. We forward a lot of text messages from our Platinum President and other team members. I would suggest having the "unlimited texting" feature added to your phone. You will miss out on a lot of pertinent information for you and your team by not checking and forwarding text messages sent to you. 1 Elite Group United Second Edition February 2013 General Information Ardyss garments are designed by an orthopedic surgeon for both Men & Women. For women specifically, we offer a complete lime of body reshaping garments, to restore the shape of their bodies. The garments support and restore your internal organs to their original anatomical place in the body. The garments lifts the organs and pushes them back into the pelvic area. They flatten your tummy, lift your breasts, reshape your legs, lifts and reshapes your buttocks, straightens and aligns your back, and pulls your shoulders back to correct your posture. How It Works The Body Magic reshapes based on these four concepts: 1. Lipo Transportation—Moving fatty tissue from where it is to where it needs to be. 2. The purpose of this is to determining qualifications for promotions and maintenance qualifications for receiving various bonuses. Group Qualification Points (GQP): GQP represents all the PQP created by the entire group in the down line of an Advisor or higher rank person for the purpose of determining qualifications for promotion and maintenance qualifications for receiving various bonuses. Commission Qualified: To be considered commission qualified, your monthly purchases should be at least 150 PQP or subscribe to a product auto ship for only 100 PQP in the qualifying month. As you advance in rank, to be paid as a particular rank, may require and increase in Personal Qualification Points or in your auto-ship commitment. Mangers and above need to have 250 PQP or 200 auto-ship, Value Points (VP): Every Ardyss product that is purchased carries an assigned “Value Point” (VP) This VP is used to calculate various forms of compensation in the company Compensation Plan. Record the measurement on the chart under bra size. THORAX From behind the person, place both hands around the front of the person just underneath the breasts. Slide the measuring tape around to the center of the back. We suggest you measure straight across the back to get a garment that will give the customer more wear. Record the measurement on the chart. WAIST The correct waist of a person is where the elastic of the pants or underwear rests, which is usually where the person’s body bends naturally. If you are not sure where the waist is, the person should bend to both sides and put their finger on the 2 side spots where the natural bend occurs. This is where the tape should be placed to determine the recommended measurement. HIPS Measure the hips and record the measurement on the chart. If the person’s waist looks larger than their hips, make a comment on the chart indicating so. Use the largest of the 2 measurements to determine the recommended size 7 Elite Group United Second Edition February 2013 Tips For Body Magic Measurements The Body Magic garment is not recommended: For those who are larger on top and smaller on the bottom If the waist and stomach are larger than the hips Ardyss Garment Sizing If a person’s thorax measures 30 inches, a Body Magic size 30 must be ordered, there is also the option to order a smaller size for more compression; in this case size 28. Please refer to your measurement chart in your Back Office for sizing instructions and information. Tips For Panty Reshaper Measurements If the difference between the waist and the hips is 10 inches or more, the size of the buttocks should be decreased. If it is less than 10” the size should be increased. Example: Hips 40” minus Waist 30” = 10”. You will need to assist your client with putting on the garment Turn the garment inside out and upside down. Step into it from the upside down position, and place the elastic bands as close to the top of the thigh area as possible. You will later readjust the legs and implement “lipotransportation.” Have the client to grab the straps and wiggle into the garment (just as you would a pair of jeans). Fasten the arm straps on the setting that’s most comfortable for the client and place on the shoulders. Adjust the legs, making sure to “transport” the fatty tissues underneath the elastic band. Transport the fatty tissues in the stomach area to the sides as you fasten the garment on the first hook (if you measured properly, the client should be able to fit the first setting. As time progresses and the body transforms, the client should be able to move to a tighter setting). If there is fatty tissue exposed below the breast/above the top of the garment, have the client to sit on the edge of a chair while you pull the garment up from the waist and at the top of the garment. Helps Reduce fat in the crotch area Corrects posture and sharpens overall figure Smoothes the irregularities and helps prevent additional deposits ANGEL BRA Disconnect the straps from the bra, dismount the cups, and undo adjustable straps from the first hook. Put the straps around the shoulders, center the bra and adjust to the thorax, and reconnect the back hooks. Adjust the bra straps to the proper fit, and then position the fat tissues from the back and sides into the bra opening. Close, and reconnect the cups to the hooks on the bra. Open the suspension area in the back of the garment and in a squatting position, pull the fat tissues from the buttocks, belly and leg areas toward the opening of the garment. Measure the bust line (see How to Measure guide). Example: Bust measures 44” 2. Measure the thorax (see How to Measure guide). Example: Thorax measures 38” 3. Subtract 2 from the thorax measurement. The Paradigm Shift What would you rather have: 1,000 front-line distributors who never do anything with the business or 10 distributors who build large organizations without your day-to-day involvement? Easy question huh? The first step to having an MLM organization that’s a lean, mean, money-making machine that works with or without you is to adopt the attitude of focusing on “selective sponsoring” instead of “wishful sponsoring.” Make up your mind that you will not attempt to recruit large numbers of people again! Your attitude should be that every single distributor you recruit must be the kind of person who will earn $100,000 the very first year in the business, with or without your support, or you don’t want them. 2. Approach Leaders, Not Losers The very people that most network marketers are reluctant to approach are the ones you must target. You want business people who are already somewhat successful. You want people who are highly organized; self starters; self motivated; people who are determined to change their financial situation and willing to back that determination up with massive action. You do not want people that you have to constantly motivate. Yu cannot afford to baby-sit unmotivated, unorganized, irrational, unqualified, lazy people that expect you or the company’s system to do everything for them. (If you are now beginning to make excuses in your mind why you cannot find and approach these types of high-level prospects, you might as well forget success right now before you get started and waste your time.) 3. Third Party Approach When you do target an ideal prospect, try this script to reduce or eliminate pressure on your prospect when calling for the appointment: “I’ve started a home-based business that I’m excited about and I’m looking for a few key people that have leadership abilities. I know this is something you would not be personally interested in, but I was wondering if you would do me a favor by looking at my business and tell me who I should be calling?” Tell this person that you are looking for people who are concerned about not having enough money for retirement; layoffs; downsizing; not enough free time wit family or job dissatisfaction. If your prospect ask any of these concerns, he or she will ask you if you would consider THEM for the opportunity. Create A Benefit State-of-Mind After you initial “shock and surprise” that they themselves would be interested, ask questions like: Why would you be interested in this? What appeals to you abut this business? What has attracted you to know more? How would this program benefit you? The more reasons they tell you why they need something like this, the better your chances of enrolling them as a topnotch leader. But...it’s too soon to let them know they have qualified to be part of your business. You need to make them jump through some hoops that will absolutely prove to you that they are serious. 6. Get Them Using Products Since 90% of the people that get into network marketing do so because they’ve had a positive experience with their company’s products or service, your prospects must be believers in them too. Sell them some products as a requirement to schedule a second interview. Do not convey to your prospects that they have a good chance to be accepted into your business. The psychology of “Selective Sponsoring” is to keep them off-balance until you are convinced they have met all of your requirements. 7. The Meeting Requirements During your second interview, quiz them on the benefits of the products and services you sold them. Make sure they are sold on them before continuing. Assuming they like them, explain (not sell) your company’s business plan. Tell them that they have to attend a small meeting with you to meet other distributors in your company. Require that they attend a regional or national conference that will give them the big picture. Be sure that you take them to these meetings personally, but at their own expense. 8. Action Commitment The final requirement for them to qualify to be a part of your organization is for them to embrace your start-up system. (What, you don’t have a system? Shame on you.) You may want to include: setting goals, making up a warm list, purchasing your company’s top level start-up package, setting two or three appointments their first week, making three-way calls wit you, etc. 19 Cont. on pg 20 Elite Group United Second Edition February 2013 9. Point Them in the Right Direction Be there for them the first thirty days in the business. go with them on their first few appointments. (I cannot stress enough the importance of you supporting them in the beginning by helping them with their first few presentations) Agree to make three-way calls with them. Show them your company’s procedure system. Encourage them to get the training they may need. And then, let them go. 10. Disqualification During the entire process of this system, if your prospect balks at any of the steps (including going to a national convention at his or her own expense), recognize they may not be ready to be coached. They might be a great customer of retailer but BUSINESS BUILDER are a different breed. This process helps you see who you should spend quality your time with. * If you successfully implements this system and stay with it, one day you may have people literally standing in line to join your network marketing business. This what McDonalds has done in creating their huge business. If you go to any McDonalds anywhere in the world you can expect the same look, feel, food, and processes that make them successful. In a similar fashion you can create a hug Ardyss business by first finding five associates willing to invest $100 per month for their first six months. This gives you a month one total of $1,000 which translates into $100 commission check for your monthly Recruiting Bonus. For month two, you help these five new distributors recruit five new distributors each, who each commit to investing $200 per month. Once you have done this, you now have 25 distributors, which will give you a month two total of $5,000 that translates into a month tow recruiting Bonus of $500. If you're like me, you are constantly thinking of ways to improve your business and leadership acumen. A key ingredient that is often missing is duplicability. Duplication is simply the ability to have others do what you do. Not being duplicable can hurt your sales, booking, and sponsoring if people feel they can't duplicate what you do. When you are sponsoring others into the business and then helping those you sponsor grow their own businesses, duplicability is perhaps the most important trait you can have as leaders. So, let's get back to the basics and continually ask yourself if what I’m doing is duplicable so that others will want to and be able to do what I do. Effective Showcasing Showcases are a very effective way to build you r business. It can be one-on-one, 1-to-5, 1-to-3, or one-tomany. Be sure they are effective. 1. Scheduling. When you schedule a showcase with your hostess, call them a day or so ahead of time to confirm the date. 2. Calling to Confirm. Have distributor/hostess call each guest to confirm attendance. Make sure they have the correct address & time of Reshaping Party/Showcasing. Ask them, “is that a firm yes?” You want to know whose coming. 3. How to set up an Effective Meeting. Call hostess with tips on how to have an effective showcase. a. Welcome guests. If multiple distributors, ask who invited them. Edify the distributor. “Oh, Xxx is excellent. Listen to everything she says. She can take you straight to the top.” Guest will be half-way sold before they even hear the opportunity. Now the job is half-way done. b. Be sure to start on time. Don’t be afraid to tell your guest to be on time. Tell them that the lady coming over is very busy and her time is precious so we must start on time. c. Hostess will introduce presenter. Bring them up after you have welcomed your guests. Edify them as the expert (xxx has been in the business so many years. “ Xxx is a great person, she has a heart for people, She broke the record, etc.” Whatever you can say to make your guests want to listen to them). d. Focus on what I do when showcase starts – key in on what’s going on; if hostess does this, their guests will be focused. 4. Eliminate distractions. Set the tone. Let your hostess know. They are brand new, never had a showcase so they don’t know. Ensure pets, children phones tec., are addressed prior to the showcase. 5. Serving Food. If you’re having food, serve it after the presentation. Tell your hostess, “If you’re having food, this is how we do it… Is that OK?” It’s not effective if people are moving around in the kitchen. Make sure your hostess knows. Ask hostess to give you 30-40 minutes for the presentation, and then serve the food. 19 Cont. on pg 19 Elite Group United Second Edition February 2013 6. Paint a Picture for Guest: When you start your showcase, tell stories. Story after story. Stories about the company, stories about you, the products, the income opportunities (people who are getting wealthy . Paint the picture, tell the story about Helen Dela’Houssaye who quit her 6-figure job to do this full-time and is doing a fabulous job. If you don’t know the compensation plan, use the stories in your magazine. You know enough. Just learn to be a good storyteller. Stories sell! Facts just tell. However, do not deceive your guest to get a sale. 7. Power Pack. Learn to ask people to buy the Power Pack. They can get two garments, two bottles of Le’vive, the nutritional products, all for $299. If you decide to keep it all and use it, that’s great. But if you sell it all, you get a great profit. It also allows you to participate in the Power Start. Open up your magazine and tell stories. XXX earned $000,000 dollars last month by buying the Power Pack and participating in the Power Start. 8. Models. Look for a great models – Maybe 2 different sizes. Be sure to choose people that will be able to fit the garments you have on hand and ONLY MODELS with SOFT TISSUE!! 9. Sell the Garments. Once they are in the garment, pass out the invoice along with the brochure that lists all the garments. Assume that they want to buy. a. Ask the models questions. Such as, “what do they like about the garment?” “How do they feel in the garment?” “Who else do they know would like to share that same experience?” “How would you like to get paid by just sharing that experience?” b. Don’t mention selling. You’re building something of value to either get referrals or to convince them that they have a viable contact list. Show them how to share their experience “OK, let’s get some information so that we can get you in the system” – indirect close. Keep writing. 10. Application. Do not go to a showcase without distributor paperwork – application, Auto Ship Form, Order Form, W9, Brochure & invoice (white & yellow copy) and receipt book. Give everyone a brochure & invoice. Assume that they are going to buy. 11. Let people know we have a special membership for people who want to buy the products on a regular basis. Share the benefits of being a member /business builder and the different levels. Encourage guests to plan an event. This is key!! This step can be compared to the gas on the stove: When you sign someone up, they are in that "click, click, click" mode. In order to get that flame ignited, they need to have a demonstration! The demonstration--from the invitation process to the close--needs to be duplicatable. When you are doing a demonstration for your new recruits, be certain to invite other new recruits to attend for training purposes. They can assist in putting people in garments, deliver part of the presentation, etc. Keep that rotation going to ensure everyone is properly trained. Here is a step-by-step checklist to follow to ensure duplicability: 1. Have the new distributor invite their hot and warm market (family, friends, co-workers, people they know, etc.) 2. Over invite. To get 20, people invite ~80. 3. Use electronic invitations (www.evite.com) and make personal phone calls. The newsletter Ardyss created on your back office should also be used as further reinforcement to attend. Stagger the invitation process: phone calls first followed by the newsletter and invitation, then invite. You may need to offer assistance in this process. Many people cancel demonstrations because 1) they didn't have the time to invite or 2) they feel their house is not presentable. You should offer to help in both cases. Follow up is KEY; follow up with invitees up until the night before. 4. Make sure only LIGHT refreshments are served (fruit, veggie tray, crackers, water, tea, etc.)-this is duplicatable. 5. Have little cups for guests to taste Le’vive, mix the Cran-Aloe & Ardyss Plus together for tasting, Coffee, etc. 6.
