Principals Message: March in like a lamb out like a lion. Seems like our sports teams have certainly been performing like “kings of the jungle”. As I type this both our Boys and Girls Sr. Varsity teams are vying for provincial titles, go Rebels! In the past week all of our students have had an opportunity to select classes for the 2016-17 school year. If upon reflection your student needs to make a change to their course selection this can yet be done from contacting the school and speaking with either Kristin Bodnar, or Stacy McClelland. If you are unsure as to which classes your child selected this can be viewed via Power School’s parent portal app. Which is yet another reason to have this useful app installed on your smart phone device. As basketball wraps up our sports teams will be moving onto baseball, badminton, and of course Rugby. I wish them well in their upcoming season. Next week several of our students will be on the move about the world! Mrs. Pickerell, along with other staff members, will be chaperoning the school Travel Club to Spain. I know they will have an amazing time and come back with memories that will last a life time. As well a number of our students are traveling to Mexico with community based service groups to perform community service work. They serve as role models to us all. An early Easter break is rapidly approaching. I hope there is an opportunity for families to recharge their batteries as we work our way to toward Grad. Regards, Mark Harding Acting Principal The Spring Session of Drivers Ed is starting Monday April 4th. If you would like to sign up stop in the office. To do this, we worked with the fabulous Mrs. Kehler on the "Little Dresses for Africa" project. To make the dresses, you start with a pillow case then cut, sew, and add straps. These little dresses make a big difference in the lives of the little girls that receive them.
