The “Big Rock,” the largest glacial erratic in North America, is located 7 km west of Okotoks. The name Okotoks derives from the Blackfoot First Nation word for “rock.” The site has full wheelchair accessibility and washrooms. OKOTOKS AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY Located north of Okotoks on Hwy 2A & 306 Avenue is the oldest ongoing agricultural society in Western Canada with a history dating back to 1892.
