Here at ShoreMaster we are more than just manufacturing. We
are customer service, innovation, and experience...we are welders,
mechanics, developers, designers, problem solvers, and more
working to provide each and every customer and user with the
very best waterfront experience available. With over 40 years of
experience and knowledge, ShoreMaster is primed for continued
growth well into the future. We have been since the beginning,
and we will continue to be today and tomorrow.
When Dennis Tuel, Sr. started in Carlos, MN in 1972 he wanted
to build a boat lift that would better serve the lakeshore owners
in the area. Even then ShoreMaster’s passion was our customers.
It was with that passion that we started crafting aluminum boat
lifts in a market dominated by steel lifts. It is with that same
passion that we continue to provide one of the deepest and most
diverse product line-ups in the market.
In 1985, ShoreMaster operations moved to Fergus Falls, MN and
that is still where we call home. With over 100 employees from
around Central Minnesota, ShoreMaster continues to be a family
orientated, close-knit company with a passion not only for our
people but for our community.
in other words ShoreMaster is

It all started for ShoreMaster back in
July of 1972 when the first prototype of
our aluminum boat lift was mounted on
a pickup truck. Dennis Tuel, Sr. (pictured
above with wife Marsha) sold 300 lifts
by October of 1972 for the 1973 selling
season and business as well as boat
lifts have never been the same since.

VERTICAL LIFT
STEP
(#1)
When determining what type of boat lift will work
best for your lake bottom, your style of boat and
your water depth, you won’t find an easier or smarter
choice then a vertical boat lift from ShoreMaster. Our
vertical boat lifts even take the guess work out of
choosing which side of the dock to place your new lift.
8
ShoreMaster vertical boat lifts feature a simple, yet
brilliant Double V-Side (DVS) design so you can access
your boat just as easily from the left or from the right.
ShoreMaster’s vertical boat lifts can accommodate
any style of boat or pontoon hull, so it’s an easy
investment to make that will pay you dividends years
later when your boat or pontoon looks just as great
as the day you bought it. A ShoreMaster vertical boat
lift is also the most versatile in terms of the type of
lake bottom and water depth that it can be used in.
You simply can’t go wrong with a vertical boat lift
from ShoreMaster.
SPECIFICATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION:
ShoreMaster’s team of professional welders infuse quality and workmanship into every ounce of aluminum and along every inch of weld to deliver you an extremely sturdy
boat lift that you can be confident will always protect your boat and its valuable passengers. The time-tested and in-water proven combination of stainless steel cables,
as well as brass sheaves, mean you won’t need to spend your hard-earned recreation time replacing cables or worn pulleys. You’ll have a hard time finding a vertical boat
lift that has more beautifully laid welds, in more critical locations than you’ll find on a ShoreMaster. To give you even more peace of mind, ShoreMaster uses only the best
stainless steel and brass hardware where fasteners are a part of the design.

CANTILEVER LIFT
STEP
(#1)
Ruggedness is forged from simplicity, at least in
the case of ShoreMaster’s cantilever boat lifts it is.
Many of ShoreMaster’s cantilever boat lifts that were
manufactured in the 1970’s and 1980’s are still in
service today. Considering the amount of abuse,
stress, and environmental conditions that these lifts
12
have endured in nearly half a century of dependable
use, there’s a reason why our design hasn’t changed
much over the years. One stainless steel cable, three
brass pulleys and relentless attention to weld quality
are what ShoreMaster gives to you in every cantilever
boat lift that we produce for you. Our cantilever boat
lifts offer unparalleled protection for your boat or
pontoon because they are so simple, rugged and
effective. ShoreMaster cantilever boat lifts are your
simple choice for lake bottoms that are firm to muddy
and shallow to moderately deep water depth.
SPECIFICATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION:
ShoreMaster cantilever boat lifts have changed very little since their original manufacturing design decades ago. A stainless steel cable ensures a long service life and
less worry of cable breakage so your lift is always ready to do its job. The strength and durability of our brass pulleys provides smooth and effortless lifting action. High
quality, professional welds throughout the aluminum frame keep your cantilever lift solid and square at critical connection points. Where required, ShoreMaster uses only
stainless steel and brass hardware to reduce or eliminate the potential for loose or corroded nuts and bolts. The important pivot points between the lift frame and the lift
rack are protected with bushings to provide the strength and longevity that our cantilever boat lifts are well known for.

RHINOHOIST® FRONT MOUNT LIFT
STEP
(#1)
Imagine being able to easily access your boat’s hull

the access point just to clean it? Stop imagining and
start doing. ShoreMaster’s RhinoHoist Front Mount

slip. RhinoHoist floating boat lifts are perfectly suited
to rougher water conditions, and deep or fluctuating
water.
SPECIFICATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION:
The steel frame of the RhinoHoist Front Mount boat lift is expertly welded, then hot-dip zinc galvanized to prevent corrosion and oxidation. Heavy duty dock brackets are
supplied with each RhinoHoist Front Mount to ensure a strong and lasting connection at the dock pivot point. The RhinoHoist Front Mount uses marine-grade fasteners
where fasteners are necessary to give you confidence that your boat will be protected on the lift in any environmental condition. The included RhinoHoist Front Mount
front walkway and the optional side walkways utilize galvanized steel brackets to support the Titan decking panels for a safe, firm and sure-footed feel while walking
the length of the lift. Flotation is provided by ShoreMaster’s own rotationally molded polyethylene air tanks that are extremely dependable to ensure your boat remains
protected whenever you store it on the lift. RhinoHoist floating boat lifts utilize the premier First Mate control units, available with or without a remote.

A boat lift helps to protect your boat or pontoon from
damage to its hull by getting it up, and out of the
way of floating debris, marine organisms, and winddriven waves. A traditional canopy frame with either
a vinyl or WeatherMax cover protects your boat from
the damaging effects of the sun’s ultraviolet rays, and

water logging caused by rain. It’s an easy comparison
to make when you compare a boat that has been
left out in the elements and one protected by a
canopy. You can see just how damaging the effects
of sun and rain can be to a boat or pontoon’s interior
vinyl, carpet, glass, and its exterior paint or gelcoat.
Imagine watching as a storm rolls in over the lake,
and knowing inside that your boat or pontoon will
remain safe and dry because it is tucked snuggly up
into your ShoreMaster canopy frame.
SPECIFICATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION:
ShoreMaster canopy frames are hand-welded by our aluminum artisans for superior strength to provide you with longterm boat protection and to give you confidence that your canopy will withstand years of worry free service. The design

ShoreMaster canopy frames are incredibly strong
and designed so you can tuck your boat or pontoon
deep within its protective structure. WeatherMax
fabric canopy covers are the premier option to
provide a protective barrier between your boat and
the elements. WeatherMax is super lightweight and

pliable so it requires less effort to install and remove
from your canopy frame. This saves you time and
hassle when it’s time to clean your cover or install or
remove it for the season. WeatherMax canopy covers
allow fresh air circulation underneath the canopy, this
helps reduce the potential for mold and mildew build
up on your boat or within the canopy cover itself. This
is an important feature to look for when selecting a
canopy cover for your ShoreMaster canopy frame, as
the absence of venting could create more work and
maintenance than you initially bargained for.
SPECIFICATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION:
WeatherMax canopy covers will retain their fit and finish on the canopy frame so your canopy system will resist
sagging caused by rain, age, and exposure to the elements. The WeatherMax finish gives you a fabric canopy
cover that is breathable so it resists mold and mildew, and allows the cover to be cleaned easily. WeatherMax
outperforms acrylic and solution dyed materials in color retention and abrasion resistance. WeatherMax is
lightweight, just 8 oz. per yard, and 1/3 less the weight of standard vinyl material, yet it is incredibly durable
and long lasting. Seams are precision welded for a watertight, perfect fit every time.

Boat lift accessories add to your peace of mind in two ways. First, they provide
useful and functional protection of your boat or pontoon. Second, they add to the
simplicity of storing your boat on the boat lift. For instance, you should pay special
attention to the bunk, cradle, or guide setup that is used on your boat trailer, and
replicate this with ShoreMaster boat lift accessories as closely as possible on your
boat lift. This way you are guaranteed that your boat will be properly supported
for storage on your boat lift. So, while some boat lift accessories are a necessary
requirement to properly store your watercraft, some lift accessories are design to
provide you with an easier alternative to actually operating the lift. A powered boat

lift motor eases the effort required to raise or lower your watercraft on the lift.
Other lift accessories such as ShoreMaster’s full length guides are a nice addition
to the overall boating experience as they can make entering or exiting the boat
lift much easier, especially for boaters who have less experience operating in tight
spaces or wavy conditions. It’s important to consider all of the variables that you’ll
encounter when storing your boat on a boat lift to ensure that your boat will be
properly protected, and that any family member who may use your boat or boat lift
will find the experience safe, easy and enjoyable as you do.
